---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Allow yourself to be enchanted by Corca Dhuibhne (West Kerry),a land of stunning impressive mountains, spectacular coastline and sandy beaches.

Spend time in a place rich in tradition, literature and culture, where our native Irish language prospers but most of all spend time in a beautiful house where you can marvel at the splendour of its surroundings with every modern convenience the house offers privacy and comfort.

There is few places in the world that will thoroughly take your breath away as the view from inside or outside or on the patio of the cottage overlooking Clogher Beach /Sybhil Head and the 3 high points called the 3 sisters /mountains and the vast Atlantic Ocean,,, the most photographed point of the most scenic of drives .the home is only 20minute drive from idilic Dingle town

This is no ordinary cottage, quite apart from breath-taking views from every windows, the house is utterly delightful and comfortable with oil fired central heating, wooden floors and subtle decor which sets the tone in this tranquil hideaway. Situated right at the heart of what

National Geographic calls it 'the Most Beautiful Place on Earth .The spectacular views of the rugged cliffs which make up the coastline can be seen from every window of the house.

It overlooks Clochar Beach, Sybil head,The Three Sisters, Mount Brandon,Smerwick Harbour..It inspired classic films such as David Leans 'Ryan's Daughter' Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman epic 'Far and Away'.

Situated on the Panoramic Slea Head drive and the Dingle Way,10Km from the quaint fishing town of Dingle, Golf links, horse riding, hill walking, and beautiful safe sandy beaches close by.

Sheep graze the lush land around the Stone House.

You can walk through the fields attached to the house and feel the freedom of living in the country also you can walk to the cliffs through the fields and sit on the stone wall and watch the waves and the ocean and the surrounding hills and cliffs and feel the peace and tranquility seep through your body!!

The house is probably the best situated on the dingle peninsula with views that awe-inspiring, the pictures that accompany this sight are all the the views you will experience from you visit.

The Kindest of Wishes;

Philomena O'Connor

For golfers with the beautiful Cean Sibeal 18 hole golf course links 5 minute drive from the house,

Amazing!!

  • 5 of 5

I was referred by friends to this location that stayed here. They told me how great it was but it was even better than expected. The views were incredible. Philomena and her daughter were so nice and helpful with facts and fun things about the area. We enjoyed hikes without ever having to get in a car. We didn't have s bad meal anywhere, enjoyed the local pubs in Ballyferriter as well as in Dingle.

I can't wait to go back. We stayed for a week then headed north to Galway and Dublin. Had fun in those areas but enjoyed my time at the Stone Cottage so much more.

Stone House Dingle - A slice of heaven on earth!

  • 5 of 5

All you need to do is to read any of the reviews for this beautiful home and you will clearly realize that it is a wonderful place to be! The pictures online are great but no picture can capture the feeling you get when you first walk into the house and see the actual views that you will be living with throughout your stay. Our original plan once at the Stone House was to use it as a base and travel to other nearby areas of Ireland, like Kerry and the Killarney Lakes, but once we arrived we all agreed to just relax and stay there for the rest of the trip. The purpose of our trip was to bring our children/grandchild to the country of our heritage, a trip that has been in the making for years. Our stay at the Stone House on Dingle was more than we could ever have expected. The home was clean, beautiful and well equipped. The owners, Philomena and her daughter, Sharon, were so friendly, kind and helpful with anything we needed. The land was great for hiking, especially down to the cliff at the edge of the property, and then along that, down to the beach. Also right up the street was another place to hike and you will see the spot where the busses pull off there to let everyone take a picture of one of the most beautiful views in Ireland..(the same view the you have, looking right out of your bay window!!) We so enjoyed the town of Ballyferriter just five minutes down the road, had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant and visited a bar or two. Then we did some shopping and had two wonderful dinners in the quaint town of Dingle, about 20 minutes away, and enjoyed some traditional Irish music in the bars there. The Dingle Peninsula has so many things to see, we didn't even come close to seeing everything so I guess that means we will be visiting the Stone House again some time! Can't wait!!

Where heaven touches earth!

  • 5 of 5

The only thing that could have enhanced our visit to the wondrously beautiful Dingle Peninsula was the magnificent 4 bedroom home in Ballyferriter, Tig Meaig, & the warm welcome & wonderful hospitality provided by Philomena & Sharon. We truly enjoyed our 2 week stay in this terrific home where every need was anticipated & every want provided for. We truly cannot wait to come back again & enjoy the grace of God as provided through this glorious setting & our gracious hosts. Peace & Prayers!

Completely Amazing

  • 5 of 5

This is cottage is truly incredible. The view is breathtaking from every window and skylight. The house was expertly designed to meet everyone's needs in our family. Each bedroom had a bathroom en suite as well as a half bath off of the kitchen/living room. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived.

Philomena and her daughter Sharon were extremely hospitable and helpful. Their kindness made our vacation extremely memorable, especially for our 10 year old daughter. I highly recommend this cottage! It is truly the most spectacular place our family has ever stayed!

Wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

The house is amazing! The views are fantastic, and you aren't too far from the town of Dingle. The area around the house was fun to explore and the walk down to the beach was incredible. My family of 8 loved spending the evenings hanging out and looking at the views while the sun was going down. We could not have asked for a better place to stay or better people to rent from. Philomena and her daughter are nice, incredibly helpful, and professional. The house is spacious and having the washer and dryer was nice. The house is in incredible shape and there is so much to do and see in the area. I would definitely recommend this house near Dingle!

  • 5 of 5

I was most fortune to spend a week at this beautiful house in March with family from Australia ,Northern Ireland and Canada. Over the years we have done lots of travelling and have had many VRBO rentals. This house was THE BEST RENTAL we have ever had. The BEST STOCKED KITCHEN and THE MOST SPECTACULAR SCENERY. it was a joy to meet Philomena and her son We enjoyed visiting the historic landmarks within walking distance of this home. I would not hesitate to rent this home in the future. Catherine.
