Unfortunately, we ran out of gas on the Mon afternoon at approx 2.30pm for heating and cooking. I rang Maree at driftwood cottages and left a message saying we were out of gas. All 4 cylinders were empty and left my name. I didn't leave my number as they would have had it on the booking. To date, no call or apology. The property is brilliant but the management isn't.
A beautiful home in a breathtaking spot overlooking the bay . Every modern comfort and so many thoughtful extras ...why didn't we stay longer! Great access to Ida Bay railway, white sandy beaches, friendly Geeveston, Huonville and Cygnet as well as Kettering and the ferry to wonderful Bruny Island and a memorable Bruny Island cruise on a spectacularly sunny March day. Esperance Landing was perfection!
We walked into Esperance and were in orr at the view and the design of the modern house overlooking the bay
The location was lovely and the house was fantastic with all the amenities you could ask for. The spa was so relaxing and big! The house was supplied with fresh linen, robes in every room, DVDs and book collections. Thank you for a great experience.
Who needs to go to Lake Como?
There is little reason to venture beyond the gate at Esperance Landing even though it has convenient access to many sites and sights around the Huon Valley. Serenity comes when you are removed from town with a very comfortable and well appointed home stay with modern amenities plus wifi. But we did venture out and were always very happy coming home to such an agreeable place. Indeed, who needs to go to Bellagio?
