Wonderful comfortable property but........

  • 4 of 5

The house was beautifully decorated in keeping with its vintage. It was v clean, well appointed and comfortable. The BUT is: the property was advertised as 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms but only had a full bathroom (extremely good with shower, full bath & toilet ) and another separate toilet with hand basin. We managed with 6 adults but felt we were mislead. However after speaking with the owner she explained Stayz does not have the capacity on their web site to advertised 1 1/2 bathrooms so maybe Stayz needs to improve.Except for that disappointment the house is highly recommended.

Home away from home - plus a touch of luxury

  • 5 of 5

I have just returned home following my second stay at Twyford House. My first stay was in June this year with my mum, dad, husband and 3 year old son. The second stay was with my grandfather. Twyford was everything we could have wished for and more. It was certainly a home away from home, suitable for my extended family but cosy enough for two of us.

From the king size beds, beautiful garden, huge bathtub and snug sitting room nothing is overlooked in this beautiful historic home. And the kitchen – that stove – a cooks dream!!!

Thank you Bronwyn for your hospitality and for adding a touch of luxury to our Tasmanian holidays. We will be back.
