Overview

About the property

'Mingalar' means ‘welcome’ and ‘place of peace and serenity' in Pail, the language of Buddhism. When you arrive, you will feel welcome too. Mingalar is especially lovely in the winter: Cosy up by the fire listening to the rain on the colourbond 'roof', talk long walks well rugged up on the ocean beach...

As seen on Channel 9's 'When love comes to town'. Hosted by The Farmer Wants A Wife's Natalie Gruzlewski.... 12 single city girls travel the country in a bus, moving from town to town until they find their man and leave the bus... One of the country boys hosted his girl at Mingalar at The Honeysuckles. They loved it and you can too.

Whether you are after an active holiday of surfing, swimming, golf, and bushwalking, or a relaxed chill out doing very little, Mingalar in the small hamlet of The Honeysuckles is the place to do it.

300 metres from the spectacular 90 Mile Beach, Mingalar is built in sympathy with the Banksia landscape.

This unusual looking home is different! The high cathedral ceilings and intersecting arches are complimented by natural light from large windows. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan living, large outside decking...

The large open living area is the hub of the home. Sun soaked in the winter courtesy of full north facing windows, and cosy even without the fire going. The living area has a massive dining table, comfortable leather couches, combustion heater, large 46” 3D HD TV with Blu-ray home entertainment system.

Sleep comfortably and wake up to the sound of the native birds and the ocean. Experience what it's like to have no neighbours! The master bedroom has a queen bed, full en-suite bathroom, and private deck.

The second bedroom has queen bed. Third bedroom has two solid and comfortable single beds.

The well-appointed kitchen includes European oven and cook top, microwave and dishwasher.

There are games and jigsaws in the cupboards for the odd rainy day.

Large sun drenched north-facing decking area, outdoor table, and four-burner BBQ for fabulous long lunches.

Fully fenced large back yard for kids. Well-behaved four legged friends welcome too - please discuss with owner in advance.

It’s a rural area. Expect to see echidnas and wombats. There’s lots of kangaroos in the area. We have even had a resident emu and it’s not uncommon to see dolphins off the beach.

*** We have welcomed newcomers to the area by providing transitional housing until they found something permanent. Get in touch via the enquiry form if you would like to explore staying at Mingalar for an extended period. ***
