A dream house - nothing missed!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful weekend in the Grampians staying at Bella Casa Blue. A fabulous property that was everything you hoped it would be. Lovely inviting living spaces with comfortable furniture, wood burning heater. Bedrooms were great - very comfortable beds. Kitchen was beautiful and - unlike many places - provided everything you needed in the way of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils. Many thoughtful additions like a welcome pack of wine and chocolate, umbrella by the door, binoculars and such things. Beautiful large deck (too cold at this time of year!) and lots of visitors in the form of beautiful Rosellas and Cockatoos. We will be highly recommending this property to our friends and we hope to return ourselves.

Owner's Response: Your kind review is very much appreciated. We try to have most things available that guests would need on there holiday, nothing worse than getting to your accommodation, only find essential things not supplied. The bird life love coming to the balcony to greet the guests.

The Bella Casa Blue experience- a gem from start to finish

  • 5 of 5

From the minute we booked it was such a wonderful experience. Peter, the owner, has ensured that a stay here is a most enjoyable one with so much attention to small details. The house is utterly comfortable, spacious, lovely views and the Grampians themselves quite breathtaking. Highly recommended. Thank you again Peter. We loved it!

The Grampians Mountain range

Halls Gap is a village in Victoria, Australia. It’s a gateway to Grampians National Park, known for its sandstone mountains, wildflowers and wildlife including echidnas and wallabies. Park trails lead to waterfalls like towering MacKenzie Falls and slender Silverband Falls. The Balconies lookout offers views of the Victoria Range, while Boroka Lookout is perched above Fyans Valley, with glimpses of Lake Bellfield.

Founded in 1841 by Charles Browning Hall, Halls Gap has matured into a modern tourism hub with its proximity to the natural attractions of the Grampians National Park a drawcard. Waterfalls, lookouts, bushwalking trails, lakes and sacred Indigenous sites are all on your doorstep, with many attractions just a short walk or drive away.

Halls Gap features a beautiful park with a large children’s playground and free barbecues, a fantastic solar-heated swimming pool with kids’ splash pad, and a visitor information centre staffed seven days a week. A supermarket, petrol station, ATMs, a post office and a chemist are all in town, and the Halls Gap Zoo is just around the corner. Brambuk – the National Park and Cultural Centre – will help you learn more about the rich Indigenous culture and history of the Grampians known as Gariwerd in local language.

Throughout the year Halls Gap hosts popular events including Victoria’s longest-running food and wine festival the Grampians Grape Escape, as well as art and craft events like Grampians Brushes, and music celebrations such as the Grampians Jazz and Blues Festival. And if you’re a wine connoisseur, many of our cafes, pubs and restaurants serve the local tipple, or you can take a short drive to visit cellar doors and talk to the winemakers themselves.

Halls Gap is at the very heart of the Grampians and the perfect spot to base yourself while in the region. And with so many friendly local businesses wanting to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, what are you waiting for? See you soon!
