The central living area of the house has decks on either side, a casual eating area beside the kitchen, all overlooking a large lounge with dining for 10/12 people and comfy sofas around a woodfired stove. And glorious views!
The deck overlooking Bluey's Beach has a Weber BBQ, casual dining for 10 people, market umbrella and steamer chairs.

Fabulous beach holiday!
What a lovely beach house! I stayed here for the weekend for a family catch up. The house was even nicer than the pictures. Lots of space for everyone, beautiful view looking out over Blueys Beach and a great location, close to the beach and the shops.
Would definitely recommend and would love to come back next year.
Excellent Property In Excellent Location
Owners are terrific, House is fantastic and location is great.
Totally loved our stay at the Beach Shack.. Such an epic location and well equipped house.. Will hope to come back again!!
Thank you so much Eddie. We look forward to hosting you whenever you get a chance to return. Kindest Regards, Davida
Excellent property for families
This property was perfect for our family of 3 generations including 8 adults, 2 children and 1 baby. There was room for two further children if necessary.
Walking distance to local shops and cafes. Quiet dead end street and the house has complete privacy with lovely view of the ocean or bush from all windows. Not too elevated to miss the sound of the ocean. The floor plan is such that although the house accommodates this amount of people there is plenty of separation due to the bedrooms being in two wings of the house. Quite a magical place in our opinion and we hope to visit again.
Thank you so much Linda, it was lovely having you and your family and we look forward to hosting you again.
Very disappointing. We won't be back.
the view from the rear deck is lovely but the house is old, furnishings are worn, the kitchen is very dated but the most disappointing thing was that place was so dirty. There was dust built up everywhere, mould on the skirting boards, the fridge smelt disgusting, toaster rusty, all crockery had to be washed, the standing fan in the children's room was so dirty it spat dust when turned on. The previous reviews are so positive but perhaps given they are over 12 months old there has been a change in owner. We didn't deal with anyone called Annie who is referred to so positively.
It is also 400m (not 200m) from blueys beach which with young kids makes a difference especially as it's a steep hill back from the beach.
Dear Kristina. We understand your experience at Blueys wasn't what it could have been and during your stay we did everything in our power to address issues that were faced, mainly due to the cleaner, which we manage remotely, not doing their job. We have, as discussed with you over the phone dealt with this issue, getting someone new on board and refunded the clean cost to you. In addition we sent an emergency plumber to the house on a Saturday morning to fix an oven that wasn't broken but rather you didn't turn on properly. We didn't charge you for this but swallowed the cost ourselves. As discussed with you over the phone, we apologise your experience wasn't a positive one, but feel we did everything in our power at the time to try and amend this, but quickly understood we wouldn't be able to please you. We have since addressed the cleaner issue, have completely re-done the whole kitchen which was always on the cards and know that the home is a beautiful one to share with families and friends seeking a peaceful happy and warm experience at Blueys, as we have been doing for years. We wish you all the best and hope you find a wonderful place five minutes walk from the beach for your group in Blueys in the future.
The Perfect Beach Getaway !!!
We absolutely loved staying at Bluey's Beach Shack!!
The house is fantastic, has a beautiful view and it's a very short stroll to two breathtaking beaches. Also, only a couple of minutes walk away are a couple of great places to eat too. Everything was made extremely easy by the hosts.
Many thanks - we'll be back!!!
