About the property

Welcome to The Club House!

The Club House is a Holiday House Rental based in Victoria, situated in Inverloch, Gippsland. The house comfortably has accommodation for 10 people, and is based within 700m of the main town, and 850m to Anderson's Inlet and the Surf Beach.

1st bedroom: 1x Queen bed, 1x infant cot

2nd bedroom: 1xQueen bed

3rd bedroom: 1x double bedroom

4th bedroom: 2x bunks plus additional 2 mattresses

The house is big with two separate living areas, one with a cosy Coonara fire place (BYO Firewood), and the other with a Pool Table and games. Both have lounge suites and flat screen televisions. We have two bathrooms centrally, one with a shower, the other with a shower, bath and toilet. There is also a second separate toilet inside the home.

Included at our property are 90+ Foxtel Channels, including Movies & Fox Footy, as well as all the kids channels. This is available in both lounge rooms. No matter the weather, there's plenty of entertainment on site, games, toys, puzzles and free WIFI Internet for our guests.

We have our very own commercial style playground available for your exclusive use, plus a highchair, cot, toddler safety bed rail, baby bath and baby bouncer.

Inverloch is an easy 2 hour drive from Melbourne, taking the South Gippsland Highway towards Phillip Island, down the Bass Highway and then out to Inverloch via Wonthaggi.

About the House

The Club House is a 4 bedroom home with two large living areas. It's set on a quiet avenue with very little through traffic, close to town and the nearby beaches.

We're often told that we've thought of everything, and we agree. Excluding bedding and linen, you should be able to find all that you need for a great Beach House getaway. This includes a kitchen stocked with crockery, cutlery and cookware, free WiFi, plenty of toys, games and Foxtel to ensure you have plenty to do, year round. We have heating and air conditioning in the living rooms for year round comfort, as well as a wonderful Connara Wood Heater for the colder months (BYO Firewood)

So, what's so great about the Club House?

•We are located centrally, just a short walk to town and shops, walk to inlet beaches, walk to surf beach and located in a really quiet street. The traffic the street does receive travels slowly as the street is too short to get any speed up.

•We've got two large living areas. Great for groups, or families, with parents and kids able to have a section of the home each.

•We've got Foxtel with 90+ channels including the Movies, Fox Footy and Kids Channels. In both lounge rooms!

•We've got a giant playground in a safe enclosed yard. Great for kids and pets.

•We've got reverse cycle comfort, allowing the property to be used year round. We also have a fantastic Coonara Wood Fire Heater (BYO Firewood)

•We've got 5 Star SEALY POSTUREPEDIC beds! We made sure we put in place the best mattresses possible, and as such The Club House has the same beds used in some of Melbourne's 5 Star hotels. Guest often comment that our beds are better than the ones the have at home!

•We have 2 Queen Beds, 1 x Double bed, 2 x Bunks, Cot, 2 additional mattresses and a sofa bed.

•Pets can be accommodated with prior arrangement directly from us - The Management. You will need prior approval for any animals before bringing them along. So far, guests who have brought pets respectfully have left no trace that pets have even been there, and have enjoyed a holiday with them. It's great to walk along the beach with your dog!

•Late checkout is possible. If there is no booking directly following yours, we can arrange a late checkout. When we rented holiday houses this was a feature we wished was in place!

•You can contact us directly. You can always call / email us directly with questions, before during or after your stay. We are a family, and understand the needs and concerns of families.

•We've got lots of indoor toys and games! So if the weather is no good, you can be sure you will have plenty to do. We also have a Pool Table and plenty of books on hand.

And there is loads more!

Everything has been thought of at The Club House!

PLEASE NOTE: Our beds only have mattress protectors and pillows. As such you will need to bring your own bedding, linen, and towels unless otherwise organised with us. We do have a service available.

PLEASE NOTE: Firewood for the fire is not supplied. Please BYO. (We do have two air conditioners at each end of the house that provide both heating and cooling).

PLEASE NOTE: No booking enquiries from prospective tenants under the age of 21. We are aimed at families and groups of friends. Not parties. Unfortunately we have had a bad experience with a young group and as a result need to implement this policy going forward.

About the Area

Inverloch is a short 2 hour drive from Melbourne down the South Gippsland Highway. It's a seaside town of 5000 people, with plenty of things for everyone to do!

The two main features of Inverloch are the Surf Beach and Anderson's Inlet. Both of these are a short walk from our Holiday House.

In and around the Inverloch Township, you will find:

1. The Club House

Where we are based, at 11 Club Avenue, Inverloch.

2. Access to Main Street

On the main street you will find cafes and retailers, catering for the seaside town.

3. Main Shopping Centre

Here you will find Foodworks, our local grocery shopping centre.

4. Restaurant and Pub Precinct

A short walk from our property will find you in the centre of town, amongst restaurants and pubs. You can grab a counter meal at one of the two pubs, dine at one of the many cafes or grab a great Chinese or Japanese meal at our local restaurants.

5. The Boat Ramp

The Boat Ramp gives access to both the Inlet and the coast via the mouth of Anderson's Inlet.

6. Inverloch Bowl Club

Situated right on the beach, the Inverloch Bowls Club is ideal for members and visitors alike.

7. Inverloch Main Playground

Safely fenced off from the traffic, this playground is positioned ideally between the main streets and the beach.

8. Our Nearest Access to the Beach

850m from our Beach House will find you at the entrance to the beach. Head left towards town, or to the right towards the surf beach. There's plenty of great swimming areas, as well as plenty of rocks and areas for kids to explore. Many people also fish right off the Beach into both the Inlet and Surf Beach.

9. Anderson's Inlet Mouth

This is the opening from the Inlet through to the Surf Beach and out into the ocean.

10. Through to the Surf Life Saving Club

If you are thinking about swimming down at the surf beach, head over to the Surf Life Saving Club so you can swim between the flags. The beach is patrolled in peak seasons.
