Location. Bushwalks from your back door!

Bushwalks start 50 metres from back of property. For the energetic two of the most popular and spectacular walks in central Halls Gap, Venus Baths and the Pinnacle can be accessed from the back of the property. Four bushwalks include;

Walk One. Venus Baths (see 2nd last picture). Walk 50 meters to the back of the property turn left on to the track and walk towards the oval. Cross the road at the cricket ground club rooms and follow the track which soon enters the Halls Gap native garden and then on to the Venus baths track. This walk continues all the way to the Pinnacle for the energetic. The track to Venus Baths and on to the Pinnacle forms part of the Grampians Peak trail that is currently being constructed.

Walk Two. A short 1.2 km walk to Clematis Falls (best after rain see third last picture).

Walk Three. Bullaces Glenn. A 2.7km walk that ends at town or connects you to the popular Venus Baths (see 2nd last picture) and Pinnacle walking track.

Walk Four. Chatequa Peak. A 2.9 km walk with fantastic views of the Wonderland and Mount Difficult range as well as Halls Gap (check out the last picture for a view along the ridge top of this walk).

A great cooler weather walk from the back of the property is the Bullaces Glenn walk to Venus Baths and on to spliters falls. This walk keeps you mostly away from the exposed peaks and the section between Venus Baths and Splitters Falls follows a lovely rocky stream between the Wonderland and Mount Difficult Range. For those wanting to just walk the Venus Baths Splitters falls walk they can follow the directions to walk one.

Beautiful property!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at Serra for a week and can not speak highly enough of the property. For a family of four it was perfect, all the essentials were supplied plus more. It was extremely comfortable, clean and spacious. The backyard leading onto the national park was fantastic for the kids to play and us all to explore nearby walking tracks. After many visits to Halls Gap, this was our favourite. Can not wait to go back.

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful location with the bush and kangaroos at your back door. Easy walk into town but feels like you're in the bush. Cozy, comfy, cleanest holiday cottage we've stayed in. Kids loved all the toys and x box, husband loved the Austar (footy), I loved the enormous bath in the bedroom and the fire - we'll be back.

Most highly recommend this property!

  • 5 of 5

what a home away from home. we thought the price was extremely reasonable so we were not expecting great things but we can not recommend this property highly enough. It was such a cosy environment that is completely self contained, everything you could possible need has been thought of. A wood fire warms the living room and a fire pit is only metres from the house. So many toys are provided for the kids when they are not outside exploring. Its only a very short stroll to the main street.We will be back for sure.

Great family house in beautiful surroundings

  • 5 of 5

This is a great and well equipped house for families. The foxtel (especially the kids channels) was fantastic as was the two tvs. There is a full size bath in the master bedroom facing the tv, which the kids thought was amazing! Plenty of crockery and all the basics including paper towels, glad wrap and even sandwich bags. The only thing worth bringing is a sharp knife - there may have been one in the drawer but we couldn't find any amongst the utensils. Overall a very clean and functional house. We had a lovely time and would come again.
