Large house in excellent location

We loved our stay at Jesmondene. The location was perfect, it was an easy and flat walk for the whole family (including young children) to the shops and cafes of Daylesford. The house is big and is well laid out for large families, with 2 separate living and dining spaces. The front of the house is a great sun trap and would be perfect on winter mornings. The deck at the front provides wonderful views to the town, while we also made use of the bbq and back verandah. Undercover parking for the car was helpful particularly given the heat during our summer stay. We did experience an issue with the fridge but the manager addressed it promptly and graciously. Will happily return for our next Daylesford stay.

Excellent property in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Jesmondene. Plenty of space with so many entertaining areas, both inside & outside. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. I hope to go back there again.

A wonderful holiday home - we enjoyed our stay very much, thank you! The house is light and spacious, with a beautiful garden, lawn, and outdoor dining space. Everything has been thought of with great care and attention to make the house perfect for families. The location is ideal and easily accessible to the lake and main street of Daylesford. We're looking forward to staying at Jesmondene again!

Wonderful House

We really enjoyed our stay at Jesmondene its a lovely house.

Light filled rooms at the front of the house and a fantastic view of the town and Wombat Hill. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a lovely array of herbs in the garden too if you like cooking!

The central heating was great and also the fire place was ready to go with lots of wood. Much appreciated on a cold night after a long commute.

We would happily stay again or recommend it to friends.

Beautiful House

We arrived on a very hot day to find the owners had kindly put the ducted air-conditioning on. This was very welcomed. The house was larger than we expected and exceptionally well maintained. It had everything we needed for our stay. The two living areas inside were a great asset. The local shopping centre and main street were an easy 300m walk. I would highly recommend this house to anyone choosing Daylesford for a visit.

Great property and location

Fabulous location, roomy house, comfortable beds ,well equipped kitchen . Owner even provided some basics like tea coffee dishwasher soap etc . Good house for entertaining . Would definitely book again
