Relaxing getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay at Seagrass; the location peaceful and quiet (even on NYE!), the house was perfect and fully equipped, an easy short walk to an awesome beach and the hosts great. We highly recommend staying here.

Excellent property

  • 5 of 5

Loved the clean, simple, uncluttered decor. Strolled to the beach in under 5 mins with 2 eight year olds in tow. Great communication with owners. Very responsive, kind and helpful. . Even on a busy day beach no 5 is not crowded. If you plan to stay more than a few days, stock up on grocery items in Inverloch on your way through. We highly recommend this property for a low key and comfortable beach escape

Just superb.

This was our second time @ Seagrass and it gets better and better. The local wombat visited us every night. The stars simply awesome, and Seagrass a beautiful haven.

Lovely clean, spacious house, close to the beach

  • 5 of 5

This was our second Easter stay at Seagrass, the first being in 2014. If anything, this visit was even better than the first. The house is very clean, spacious and situated in a very quiet location. It's an easy walk to No. 5 beach, being our favourite, where we spent many hours walking the beach, in the morning, afternoon and occasionally at sunset. We also like the fact that the 'village' is quite some distance away; contributed to the quiet and made us feel that the real world was a long way away.

This is a terrific house and we're very glad we were able to secure Seagrass a second time.

One small gripe: 3G/4G mobile coverage is atrocious in Venus Bay at the best of times. Would have been nice if the Seagrass wifi had been working. I think George is remedying that.

Highly recommend the Fish Creek hotel for an excellent pub dinner and the Kongwak market every Sunday.

Nature at the backdoor

  • 5 of 5

Second visit to Seagrass even better than first time round. The house still feels brand new with its Scandanavian clean lines and ample light and space. The location of the main doors and windows ensures good cross breezes and means the house cools down quickly at night on the hot days. It's a real pleasure to sit on the back decking and enjoy the trees and the late afternoon visit of the mobs of galahs who come to eat the seed at the bird feeder. It was also a pleasure to deal with the owner George who responded very promptly to all emails and texts.

Owner's Response: Much thanks for your review Heather. We were wondering whether Stayz had fixed our listing since previous tenants have experienced some technical issues when trying to add their reviews. We hope you will visit us again very soon. All the best for the new year. George & Vasy
