Range, Three HD flat screen TVs, Broadband Wi-Fi, 275 sq. ft. deck & separate screened 3 season porch, large grill (Spring through Fall). Hiking & Nordic skiing trails accessible directly from property w/o driving. Home includes first floor bedroom w/ ADA compliant exterior entrance ramp & customized bathroom & shower. Only 2 miles from golfing at the North Conway Country Club. Best of both worlds - minutes from town via back road access avoiding traffic, but quite, very private setting with woodland views on all four sides of house. Fine House in Excellent Location
This is a lovely house, well equipped for our family group. There are lots of beds so that we could choose those which fit our needs. We considered the particular slightly out-of-the-way location to be a nice advantage. Good access to Storyland, Diana's Baths and Cathedral Ledge, tubing, North Conway village, Mount Washington Auto Road, and fine hiking. There's easy access around traffic to the big supermarkets at the southern end of the big shopping strip. Hosts are pleasant, and available when needed. We will be back.
Great family home. Lots of room. Plenty of amenities: hot tub, gardens, sitting areas. Close to town. Lots of trails nearby. Beautiful setting. View from the house is terrific. In short, you can't do better.

All our needs were supplied at this beautiful, mountain home. The hot tub worked flawlessly which is not always the case with outdoor units. .
A 6 bedroom house at this price range is not easy to find. It’s nice when your kids do not have to sleep on a sofa on air mattress. One morning, at breakfast, we saw 5 deer in the yard. The mountain views out of the dining room picture window are breathtaking. The complimentary bottle of red wine is a very nice touch. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. Atitash ski resort is only a 15 min drive away. The pictures, spread throughout the house, give lots of Osgood family history and home construction steps . The resurfaced solid wood floors throughout the house are gorgeous.
Small recommendations to improve property:
Allow adjustments of room thermostats. There are times when the home was warm and preferred cooler in the winter.
Supply firewood for the living room beautiful stone fireplace. I know you can purchase wood at Hannaford‘s grocery store but it can be inconvenient.
New countertops and sinks for kitchen. Neill does one major improvement, on the home, per year, and I think this one would be a great choice for 2019.
Overall, I would highly recommend this property, to a large family group.
A house with lots of family history
Our group (6 adults) stayed here in January 2018. The house has plenty of room for large groups and the owners have provided all that you'll need. It is clear that the house has long been a family property with lots of memories. It is older fixtures, but everything was very clean and worked perfectly (thus older, isn't bad). We had a storm during our stay and a branch knocked out power to the street; we wouldn't have even known except for hearing the large generator running when we returned home (you couldn't hear it inside)....a nice feature for peace of mind.
Listed rate is total rental cost, includes Cleaning fee & State Lodging Tax. Separate $400 security deposit held, not cashed, until walk through after stay. CHARITABLE GIVING: Any rental that is associated with The White Mountain School, Bethlehem N.H. will result in 50% of rental fee being donated to Annual Fund. All Ski seasons rentals will result in donation to MWV Ski Team Non-Profit Org.
