Excellent Accommodation.

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful weekend had by all. Your home was homely and inviting. The kids enjoyed exploring the land amd the adults appreciated the open fire already lit on our arrival. With only a short trip to the snow and enough beds to house our families and extremely clean facilities we will be back again!

A special place

  • 5 of 5

It was fascinating to think that we were staying in a place with so much history. Although it was only just us there we felt like the house was welcoming us.

We loved the spacious bedrooms and the historic items (old telephones, etc) that reminded us of the house's past. We enjoyed watching the native birds in the garden (kookaburra, lyre bird, yellow robin) and wandering through the rambling garden.

Great time, surrounded by history

  • 5 of 5

A family group of 10 had great time immersed in history, with the 120 year old main house filled with history and the best dining room table where we all spent each meal. The walks around the property were a highlight, as was spending the afternoon in front of the fire. Would recommend to any group wanting to spend time together.

Just Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a delightful weekend at The Hermitage in Narbethong.

The old homestead and surrounding bush land made for a perfect weekend retreat for our extended family.

Also impressive was the kitchen and the cooking facilities - good oven and ample supply of utensils and crockery. We hope to return next year.

Fantastic family friendly character filled propert

  • 5 of 5

Brilliant property for three families ( 6 adults and 5 children in total). Plenty of space. Large bedrooms. Warm and cosy with very effective heating, coonara style fireplace and electric blankets. Full of amazing history. Very well equipped kitchen ( slow cooker, lots of pots and pans). Lovely grounds for both children and adults to explore.

Very helpful host, easy to contact and informative.

Already planning our next stay.
