This is your own Kona Paradise, 180 degree Ocean View, 2150 square feet of beautiful living space. Located in Kona Paradise, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city and a perfect location for exploring the entire island. Three bedrooms, each with a queen bed, two full master suites with full en suite baths. The upstairs lanai is large, great for sunning or watching the sunset the downstairs lanai is covered and great for entertaining or that quiet dinner overlooking the ocean. There is a beautiful garden with fruit trees and flowers for you to enjoy. Pebble Beach is a short walk down but a long walk back, but just a 2 min drive. You will enjoy our beach locker stocked with Boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, ice chest. This is not your usual vacation rental this is our home for you to enjoy!

Hale Hanaunau ha a beautiful warm sun drenched hill side location in Kona Paradise overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean and a black lava field. The Black Pebble Beach (or Kona Paradise Beach) is a snorkel or divers delight (our party of 6 adults did both) and just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Hale Hanaunau.
Hale Hanaunau is a 5 star home delight. Two Lanai's offer ocean views and a third private Lanai had its own banana tree with fruit on it for picking. The gecko's are enchanting. The hardwood floors and staircase are extraordinarily beautiful, and insisted we honor the Hawaiian custom of removing our shoes at the door. The amenities were excellent as adverstised, great kitchen, barbeque/grill and family room. Wonderful bedrooms with baths and comfortable TV living room.
Oh I would be remiss if I didn't mention the lovely landscaping with beautiful plants and shrubs.
Tina and Tim have a well organized vacation rental. The kitchen is beautiful with a door from dining room onto a patio from which you can watch the ocean. I loved all of the outdoor areas for us to use allowing us to spread out during our stay. I loved the sophisticated decor. It was subtle with comfort in mind. It worked well for three couples.
Tina and her house keeper were again very responsive and attentive, both during booking as well as our visit. The house is beautiful and well- equipped. It has a superb view of the lava field below and the ocean. We could and did easily access all the attractions in the Captain Cook area, hiking in the lava along the ocean snorkeling at 2-Step, Hookena Beach park, Annie's Burgers, etc. Being privately managed, Tina's personal involvement at her Kona Paradise property adds a personal touch and feel that is often missing in these days of emphasis on institutional/electronic management of almost anything, including vacation properties. In short, we love the place and the amenities - it is fabulous.

Enjoyed our stay, a few minor maintenance issues but all and all wonderful! Loved it!
The weather was perfect. I saw so many stars at night. I love stayimg at Captain Cook area, I can go to kona, no problem, but going to Volcano, Hilo, Green and Black sand beaches ,too. Also pebble beach is very close ! Just perfect.
We had a wonderful time staying here. The location was a central to all the activities we did, but you still have to do some driving to go to Kona or Volcano National Park. We loved that the house provided coolers, beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkel gear, and towels. It made our beach days that much better. Overall we thought it was a great value for the price, the only exceptions were the downstairs bathroom does not have a shower and there is a power line that goes through part of the view.
Amazing clean house. Well equipped. Beautiful ocean view. Pictures do not do this house justice. Very comfortable for 6 of us. Totally exceeded our expectations! Made our trip a wonderful experience.
