Gorgeous comfy house with stunning surrounds

  • 5 of 5

We visited Hampden House over summer with my mum and the two kids. It was a really special week and I'm glad we had enough time to really settle in and discover all the interesting and thoughtful touches in the house and surrounds. The BBQ worked fab for grilling, the pool was luxurious and river, a natural spa. The house is really comfortable and there was plenty of room for the six of us. Even my mum went rock hopping to find a nice spot in front of the gentle rapids to get her back massaged. Highly recommended.

Amazing property and generous owner!

  • 5 of 5

Karen maintains this house so beautifully. It’s is quirky, homely and truely a home away from home. The facilities and location are perfect and Karen’s generosity really made our stay perfect - we had fresh eggs, bread, champagne and a beautiful gift upon our arrival. The beds were super comfortable and the atmosphere upon arrival and for the duration of our stay were unfaultable. This house really is perfect and I can not recommend staying here enough. We stayed as we got ready for my wedding here and the house was perfectly suited to this and so much more. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to stay again in the near future! Karen really went above and beyond.

Hampden House is a beautiful home nestled within a lovely serene garden! It was the perfect place for a quiet Christmas getaway. Our host was incredibly thoughtful leaving delicious home baked goodies and decking the halls with lovely Christmas decorations. All of which made us feel incredibly welcome. Thank you!

Beautiful Property Amazing Host

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Hampton House was nothing short of amazing. The house is absolutely gorgeous and the gardens are beautiful. The host Karen who i was lucky enough to meet knew we were getting married that weekend went to every effort to make our stay extra special. There were little surprises left around the house, boxes of chocolates, champagne a delicious fruit cake. We are looking forward to staying here again, perhaps for our anniversary.
