This property is a modern beach house with large pool, double garage, 2 entertaining areas, 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms


The large open plan kitchen/dining is spacious and comfortable, perfect for getting together with family or friends. The kitchen features modern appliances including a 90cm induction cooktop, dishwasher, wall oven, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine.


From the open plan kitchen/dining, you have uninterrupted views of the landscaped bushland with access to a large entertaining balcony deck. The deck features a Family Weber Q BBQ, 5-piece outdoor lounge setting, 2 sun loungers and a 6-10 seater outdoor dining table. The deck is the perfect spot for breakfast or to relax in the late summer evening sun whilst kids can play ball games on the large lawn area or jump on the full size Vuly trampoline with shade cover and safety net.

The vast landscaped native bushland can be accessed from the deck and is part of Carslake Retreat – a highlight of the property. This setting gives the feel of a private getaway retreat not just another enclosed backyard in a beachside suburb.


The large in-ground solar heated and fenced pool is located at the front of the property. Enjoy the sun all day with 4 sun loungers down one end or move to the table and chair setting at the other end. With 2 shade umbrellas and a Weber Q BBQ you will not need to move.


The main living room has 2 leather couches and 2 Barcelona chairs around a 55 inch internet enabled TV with Foxtel, Netflix, XBox 360, DVD, AUX audio cable and surround sound speakers.

WiFi is available throughout the house.


Master bedroom – 1 queen sized bed with bathroom and toilet (sleeps 2)

Situated 300 metres to the Peninsula Coastal Walk entrance where you can walk the numerous beach tracks and enjoy the sound of the waves.


The person renting this property MUST be staying at the house the entire rental period. They are responsible for keeping the noise down, any breakages and damage and for leaving the house in the order found.

Excellent stay

Great property for a getaway, exceptionally clean and close to both sorrento and rye. Would recommend this property to anyone, from families with or without children to a group of friends in need of a getaway. The property also had so many forms of entertainment that it would be impossible to be bored at any given moment!

Sure is a retreat!

Great house at the end of a cul de sac.

Property has absolutely everything needed for a few days away.

So nice to have the linen provided and beds made when we arrived.

Our dog loved the grassy hill and many places to sniff around. Although she did escape the unfenced yard once.

There is a gated terrace near the house to contain dogs if needed.

The kitchen has all you'd need.

Enormous spa bath added to the relaxation.

We would love to return to use the pool when the weather improves!

Perfect location to explore the Peninsula

Beautiful modern home with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The house is in a beautiful quiet location and within just a short drive to the townships of the Mornington Peninsula. We definitely need to come back over Sunmer to maximise the use of the beautiful pool and outside deck areas. A very well maintained and clean property.

In hindsight we should have booked some additional days. This place is great and we loved the pool!
