Hi there, I'm Joe. I have 20 fantastic apartments, all with their own character - and I love what I do.
This stylish one bedroom apartment is situated on the 12th floor and is filled with an abundance of natural light. It faces the lush, leafy grounds of the historic Melbourne High School and from the balcony, you can take in stunning panoramic views of the city.
“Claremont” is a well-appointed apartment, with a mix of contemporary and classic styles.*
In this apartment you can feel at home with a flat screen TV, fully equipped timber veneer kitchen and a deluxe bedroom with a queen size bed. It has a sparkling luxury bathroom and includes a European laundry.
I will personally greet you upon your arrival and give you a local familiarisation.
I'll advise you and help on all things Melbourne, how to get around and what to do.
Shopping, attractions, laneway restaurants…whatever you seek - ask, and I’ll endeavour to help.
You will also have access to the stunning resort-style facilities, including: a rooftop entertaining deck, lap pool, winter lounge, and a gym. Please not that tenants are NOT permitted to bring along guests under any circumstances. Strict body Corporate rules apply for the use of the common areas. If required, parking is available upon request at $25 for 4 nights. For 5 nights and over, parking is $7 per night. This can be paid in cash on arrival. Parking is a 3 min walk away on Daly St. If you need to park, this is where I'll meet you.
For stays 2 to 3 nights a cleaning fee of $30 will apply. This will be charged automatically along with the Airbnb fee. For stays 4 nights and over, an extra $30 cleaning will apply. This can be paid for on arrival in cash.
A FANTASTIC LOCATION
With Chapel Street and Toorak Road just a short stroll away, a mix of designer fashion boutiques, restaurants, and cafes are literally at your doorstep.
The Prahran Market is also nearby with its huge selection of gourmet foods and fresh produce.
A 10-minute train or tram ride could also take you into Melbourne City.
Melbourne is a city that knows how to live. Choose from high-end cuisine to basement rock gigs, plays, festivals and blockbuster sporting events – all happening across a city full of parks, gardens, and historic architecture.
Explore historic arcades and laneways lined with fine dining restaurants, chic cafes, hidden bars, and fashion boutiques or head to one of the many lush gardens throughout the city.
You could also discover Melbourne's obsession with football, cricket, soccer and just about anything else that involves working up a sweat. Head to the sports precinct to visit the hallowed ground of the MCG, Rod Laver Arena or AAMI Park.
In Melbourne, everything has its own festival. From food, film, art and music festivals to celebrations of writing, anime, design and projections – get involved and experience the city through the arts.

**The apartment has a communal area and pool etc, which means sometimes the areas can be under repair (i.e., pool maintenance). This is beyond our control and we ask our guests simply to be patient and please accept our apologies in advance if this occurs.

Great views & location
Love the area this Appartment is located in and all shopping and dining options in easy walking distance. The amenities are very good, modern and comfortable. The views of the Melbourne CBD skyline are fabulous. The only criticisms that I offer are that the appartment does get hot on a sunny days and you need the fan to ventilate the windowless bedroom, several lights need fixing, and the bed sheets could be cleaner as there was other peoples hair on the sheets. Joe is very friendly and willing to help. We realised we left our house keys in the bedside draw 5 hours after leaving the appartment however after a call to Joe who had found the keys earlier, he arranged a taxi to courier the keys to the airport for us to collect. Many thanks Joe.
Excellent but take note that ..
The Apartment is everything like the previous reviewers have said, clean, comfortable and has an amazing view of the Melbourne CBD skyline. Although we did not meet Joe in person, but he gave us clear instructions over the email on how to locate his apartment and also the offsite car parking. He even gave us a call the following day to make sure that we are ok.
The only thing that we need to add about this property is that although parking is listed as one of the amenities, the car park is in fact located in the public car park that is around 5 mins walk away from the property, we have to pay $25 for 3 days parking. There is a slope in the car park that you will need to climb up and down to access your car and also a few stairs from the entrance of the apartment to the apartment lift lobby. for those that have heavy or many luggages (like us) will find it very bothersome and tiring to check in and check out.
Despite that being said, the apartment is beautiful, secure, the view is breathtaking and the apartment does has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. (except for lacking a few dish washing machine tablets and a trash-can in the toilet).
How lovely to get a meet&greet from Joe. Always nice to feel welcome and get some local info for transport/ restaurants etc. We had a fabulous trip which is always helped by great accommodation. Will definitely be coming back to this apartment. Thanks Joe:)
Great location & great host
This was the perfect spot for our Melbourne get away, central to everything, easy access to South Yarra station and trams. The unit had everything we needed, was fresh, comfortable and clean. Joe is a great host- happy to help in any way he can.
Central: Great Views
We were looking for an apartment in South Yarra because of the area's cafes, shopping and accessibility to Melbourne CBD. The South Yarra train station was only a few minutes walk away and only two stops into Melbourne. The location of the Claremont apartment could not be faulted. There are loads of interesting activities to do.
On arrival we were met by Joe, the Property Manager, who from every communication; nothing was too much trouble. As this was our first time with Pearl Apartments this gave us a good sense of security. I wanted to have a delivery sent to the apartment from some Australian online shopping and was cheeky enough to give Joe’s mobile (as I was not in the country at the time). This did not fluster him whatsoever. Joe also fully explained the area, its attractions and many helpful hints about getting about the city.
The apartment itself was spotless, modern and had a great view of the city which was particularly attractive at night. It was fully kitted out so as we were staying a week, decided to eat in a few times.
The only detraction was the bed was a little too soft. But this is a personal view and may not be shared by others.
If you are staying for more than a few days then this form of accommodation is great value over a CBD hotel.
Overall we were totally satisfied with our choice of apartment and would certainly use it again.
This apartment is a fantastic find. It looks exactly like the pictures and is spacious enough for a couple looking for an accessible base to both South Yarra and the city. Joe was very helpful and overall we couldn't fault our stay
