A slice of paradise

  • 5 of 5

A lovely cottage to match the beautiful surrounds. David and Lyndy are warm and friendly hosts and their breakfast hamper surpassed our expectations with delicious homemade goodies. The cottage felt like a home away from home. Thanks David and Lyndy for a brilliant welcome to Tasmania.

Great Location and Views

Lyndy & David have thought of everything. Cottage is very clean and modern. Our breakfast hamper and afternoon tea was delicious. Even bought some of Lyndy's tomato sauce.

Hosts Lyndy and David ensure every need is catered for. Fresh produce for breakfast and freshly baked goodies for afternoon tea. A magnificent view over the farmland rounds out a rewarding experience.

We thank you for your hospitality and humour.

Beautiful and secluded location

  • 5 of 5

This is a gorgeous property not far from Launceston. Lyndy was extremely generous with her time, going out of her way to make us feel at home. The cabin itself is well equipped, spacious, and modern. We enjoyed eating fresh cherries on the balcony overlooking the valley and strolling around the farm and surroundings properties. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We just loved staying here

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was the most amazing experience.

From the wonderful welcome from Lyndy; to feeding the chooks, the ram, the pigs and milking the cow; to home cooked afternoon tea; freshly made bread by John; wonderful provisions for breakfast; to the cozy beds and the Fire; and the gorgeous view.

We thought when we arrived that it must be brand new, but reading the guest book realised that wasn't the case. It was spotless and looked brand new!!

Thank you Lyndy for the farm tour what an amazing place you and John have.

Our girls 2 and 6 have just wanted to go back to the farm after the 2 weeks we had travelling around Tasmania. We will be back. Amanda xx

Perfect farm cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is clean and comfortable, the beds are so comfortable, high quality

linens used.

Scenery is stunning there. Lyndy and David are so nice, we spent a morning walk

around their orgainic farm and kids got so much fun.

The place is quiet and peaceful and not far away from the Lavender farm.

We still miss everything there especially the homemade bread and jam.
