"NEWS" - "Beachbreak" has just had a major renovation & make over to the downstairs area. It now has a more spacious living dining area, new bathroom & toilet with 2nd separate toilet. The 3 Bedrooms have been reconfigured and enlarged. There is a new entrance and carports have new roof area.
The downstairs area is still fully self contained & sleeps 8 in 7 beds. I am sure you will enjoy the new amenities.
It is possibly the largest house in Happy Valley for rent & has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to 16 people in 13 beds.
The beautiful upstairs living area is spacious and includes a bar/entertainment area which opens onto a covered deck with a BBQ making it ideal for entertaining family and friends. It is in and ideal location - close to the beach (1st street on right) and there are some ocean views from the deck, close to the shop and facilities at the Happy Valley Retreat, and in a quiet serene location with no passing traffic where you can enjoy the prolific bird live and adjacent bushland of the World Heritage area.
"Beachbreak" is ideal for 2 or 3 families or large fishing group allowing for independent self contained living on 2 levels. There is a kitchen on each level and they are fully equipped with gas stove, oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave and a full range of cooking and eating utensils. There is a bathroom and toilet on each level. Living areas have Satellite TV and DVDs.
On the ground floor there is a 2 car garage with ample storage area for your gear and a laundry with automatic washing machine with outdoor and undercover drying lines. There is storage room with a freezer and large extra fridge/freezer which you can use for drinks or food.
It is easy walking distance to the beach and the Fraser Island Retreat which has a shop for basic supplies, fuel, great coffee, bar and Bistro for meals.
It is an ideal location from which to base your holiday activities such as fishing or exploring the Islands Lakes, rainforests and beaches.
Beachbreak will suit the keen fishing groups with all the facilities you need.
There is an undercover fish cleaning facility for your convenience.

Please note that Fraser Island is a remote location and there is no labour available for cleaning. Therefore we can only operate on a self-clean basis. You are required to leave the house in the same condition as it was presented to you.
Unfortunately there is no commercial laundry on Fraser Island so you must bring your own linen including pillow cases, bottom & top sheets and towels. We do not allow sleeping bags. We supply pillows, blankets & tea towels. There is the option of hiring linen from the Fraser Island Retreat by contacting them in advance.
We require a security deposit which may be used to cover any cleaning cost and cost associated with non compliance with our linen requirements.
