My family and I enjoy many sports and outdoor recreation, especially skiing. We are looking forward to yet another fantastic ski season in Park City this year. Deer Valley, Park City and The Canyons are all close by and fabulous ski areas. Our favorite though is Deer Valley.
Dale & Elizabeth Churchett purchased this condo in 2011
We have been coming to Park City to ski for over 16 years and it can't be beaten for the quality of the ski resorts, and how fast you can get on the slopes after landing in Salt Lake City.
I stayed at our condo a year before we bought it, so when it came up for sale it was an easy decision to purchase. We are very excited to have a place in Park City and also love using it in the Summer and Autumn when the mountains are so beautiful.
Our condo is close to the slopes, cozy and comfy and just the right size for a sleep and ski condo. After a long day in the snow we enjoy putting on a movie and resting up together.
I am looking over your [welcome packet] as we speak and you guys are amazing! It's very nice for you to have taken the time to put all of this together for your guests. I have rented for years via VRBO/Homeaway and I have never rented from anyone as helpful and accomodating and you guys!!
Thank you for sharing your condo with us. It was PERFECT!! We truly enjoyed our stay although the weather could have been a little more cooperative. I have tried to ski out west twice now and the weather has failed me. They say third times a charm. I guess that means we have to give it another shot next year.
If our travels bring us back to Park City we will definitely reach out to you!
You have been so accommodating and I appreciate all of our help and advice.
Overall a great choice! Comfortable and cozy! Enjoyed the hot tub and met some very nice people. Close enough to Old Town though the best restaurant
Is right across the street THE GRUB STEAK!!
The condo was everything we could've asked for: quaint, comfortable, convenient. The location was perfect--literally minute drives to each place we went. We arrived late on Thursday night but there was still a person in the front office who was kind enough to help us out and even let us use the hot tub. No complaints here
Stayed at this unit with my son this past week. Property was the perfect setup for a father-son outing. The bathroom and closet were good-sized, and the main living area provided lots of great value-add features such as a ski rack and bench, small table and chairs, kitchenette with 2 rangetop burners, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator and dishes/utensils, and finally a large flatscreen TV, and desk/chair. The décor was cheery and bright. The beds were big and comfortable, and each of them had 4 very nice pillows. The heating/cooling system in the room worked great, and the water in the shower was hot/warm/cold on demand. Important to note is that this is a first-floor unit that's literally 10 steps from the main building entrance, which is great if you're carrying skis! It also has a westward-facing patio, from which you could watch the sun set behind Park City Mountain. The hot tub was located outdoors next to the main lodge, and was operational, very nice and big, and about a 100 yard walk from the unit.
As for location, it would have been hard to find anything more strategically located then this unit. The bus service in Park City is second to none (it's free too!!!), and the bus stop was right at the end of the parking lot...no more than 100 yards from the building entrance. The bus stops at every key location in town including grocery stores, shopping, restaurants and of course Park City Mountain. While the mountain was about 1.5 miles from the unit (you probably wouldn't want to walk), many outstanding restaurants and shops were within walking distance. The best part was that, unlike the downtown area, it was very quiet and uncongested in this neighborhood.
The only thing we noticed that could be counted as a "nick" on the property, is that the room smelled as if a large bag of dog food had been left open in it for awhile with all of the doors and windows closed. It wasn't an awful or sickening smell, it was just a bit of a strange odor. We couldn't find the source of the smell, and it was still there when we left, but we had gotten used to it so it wasn't a big deal.
One final note...the owner of this unit is an excellent communicator, responded to my initial inquiry within minutes, and sent me a welcome packet with all sorts of tips on navigating Park City that was very useful!
All in all, I'd rate this unit outstanding, and would definitely stay there again. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better value in Park City!
Property was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we expected. The kitchenette provided everything you would need to cook a good breakfast before hitting the slopes and prepping lunches. Overall great location and value and perfect place for a couple guys going skiing. I would definitely return.
The condo is very cozy...small, but perfect for two people skiing.
Recently stayed here for a winter snowboarding vacation and was very happy with my choice. Multiple dining options steps from the condo, the bus stop which will take you everywhere you want to go in Park City is right outside and the complex is well known within the community which made snowboard / gear deliveries / transport very easy. Not to mention the beds are extremely comfortable which was crucial after 4-5 hours on the mountain each day. Try the breakfast at Good Karma during your trip!
