About Dale & Elizabeth Churchett

My family and I enjoy many sports and outdoor recreation, especially skiing. We are looking forward to yet another fantastic ski season in Park City this year. Deer Valley, Park City and The Canyons are all close by and fabulous ski areas. Our favorite though is Deer Valley.

Dale & Elizabeth Churchett purchased this condo in 2011

Why Dale & Elizabeth Churchett chose Park City area

We have been coming to Park City to ski for over 16 years and it can't be beaten for the quality of the ski resorts, and how fast you can get on the slopes after landing in Salt Lake City.

I stayed at our condo a year before we bought it, so when it came up for sale it was an easy decision to purchase. We are very excited to have a place in Park City and also love using it in the Summer and Autumn when the mountains are so beautiful.

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is close to the slopes, cozy and comfy and just the right size for a sleep and ski condo. After a long day in the snow we enjoy putting on a movie and resting up together.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I am looking over your [welcome packet] as we speak and you guys are amazing! It's very nice for you to have taken the time to put all of this together for your guests. I have rented for years via VRBO/Homeaway and I have never rented from anyone as helpful and accomodating and you guys!!

Thank you for sharing your condo with us. It was PERFECT!! We truly enjoyed our stay although the weather could have been a little more cooperative. I have tried to ski out west twice now and the weather has failed me. They say third times a charm. I guess that means we have to give it another shot next year.

If our travels bring us back to Park City we will definitely reach out to you!

You have been so accommodating and I appreciate all of our help and advice.

Perfect for our needs

  • 5 of 5

This condo was perfect for our needs. My Son and I skied for a few days and the room was great. Check in process was simple, the condo is on the first floor and faces the back of the building. I don't think we would have been as happy with 1st floor front facing, as car's lights shine through those windows when they park. Would definitely stay here again.

Owner's Response: Good point about our condo facing to the back, although we do have black out curtains that makes for a nice dark and private room.

Good Value and Cosy

  • 5 of 5

The unit was well appointed and functional, the beds were comfortable. Dale was a great host , very quick to respond to communication and generous with extras offered.

The location is very handy to bus access to and from the ski slopes and other bus routes.

Good value compared to other rental properties in the same area. Highly recommend this property. Thanks Dale

Ski condo

  • 3 of 5

The property is small ( more like a hotel room) but clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were VERY COMFORTABLE. It is close to the center of Park City and close to the ski areas although I wouldn't call it a Ski Condo. The on site parking is great. Restaurants, shopping areas etc. are close and I did notice the bus goes right down the street. The Rail Trail is quite close. We walked down the rail trail to downtown Park City in about a half an hour. Bike rentals just a few blocks away. It would be easy to rent a bike and ride the Rail Trail.

There were a couple of issues but nothing that can't be fixed and we mentioned these to the manager.

Overall a good deal especially considering how expensive properties are in Park City at Christmas time.

Owner's Response: We recently did some minor maintenance work in the condo, and installed a new set of kitchenware for our guests. I have also reached out to the front desk manager to find out what issues you may have had so they can be addressed.

Comfortable suite with great access

  • 5 of 5

I just got back from a summer mountain biking trip in Park City. I stayed at this condo and found that it fit my needs perfectly. The room itself is simple and efficient. The pictures are accurate to the experience. The beds were very comfortable and were welcome after long days around the mountain.

As others have stated, the front desk was reminiscent of a hotel and made check-in/out easy. The property was well maintained and easy and safe to walk around. It's located in Prospector Square which has a few decent restaurants and access to at least 2 bus routes. All other routes could be accessed by first taking a short trip to the transit center near Main street. The bus system is spectacular, free, and allows bikes to be brought inside when the two racks up front are filled. It's a very easy place to stay if you don't want to rent a car.

Clean, cozy and great location!

  • 5 of 5

I cannot say enough good things about the condo! It is in a great location, convenient to the slopes and downtown Park City. It is clean and has all of the amentites anyone would need for this type of accomodation. The owner, Dale, is so very helpful!! The welcoming email you will receive once you book with him is full of great information for the area and is very helpful! As a frequent vacation renter via these types of sites, I have NEVER received this type of hospitality from any owner. If you are looking for this style of accomodation I HIGHLY recommend that you choose this condo.....you will not be disappointed!!

Park City Mountain Resort
Car: not necessary

Park City is an attractive resort town in the Wasatch Mountains, located just 32 miles east of Salt Lake City. Once a center for silver mining, Park City transformed itself in the mid-twentieth century to a skiing mecca and tourist hot spot. These days Park City draws in millions of visitors each year. Three excellent ski resorts are minutes from downtown: Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons, Deer Valley.

Park City is known for a wide variety of activities - Ski, Snowboard, Snowshoe, Cross Country Skiing, Mountain Biking,, Hiking, Golf, Performing Arts Events (Sundance Film Festival), Outdoor Concerts, Fishing

Other Activities: Skateboarding, Cross country ski, Snowshoeing, Tubing, Ice Skating

Golf: Consistently ranked as one of the premier public golf courses in the inter-mountain region, Park City Golf Club offers a challenging game at one of the state's most enviable locations. In addition to providing professionally designed and well kept greens, Park City Golf Club's elevation of 6700 feet can actually add distance to your shots while you play on a course that is typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than most courses in the area-a definite bonus during the hot summer months.

Ski: Park City has three of the best ski resorts in the country right on its doorstep. Park City Mountain Resort (1.7 miles), The Canyons (4.3 miles) and Deer Valley (4.8 miles) offer abundant terrain for every level of skiier. With over 300 annual inches of the famous Utah Powder, these resorts are must visit locations. Park City has an amazing public transport system that will get you to the mountains in no time, and for free!

Deer Valley has been voted the #1 ski resort in North America four years in a row and has 6 mountains, an excellent ski school and in the summer provides lift access for hiking and mountain biking. The Canyons features 9 mountains and the only heated/covered 'bubble' chair lift in North America. Park City offers night skiing as well as a massive amount of terrain for all levels.

Ask about free ski passes and take advantage of local knowledge for the best rentals and resorts out of Park City (Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton ... the list goes on).
