Wonderful stay at The Grand Hawthorn
We loved our stay here. The house was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. High ceilings create a real sense of space and the house is light and has excellent heating. Whilst the bathrooms are older style, they are very functional and clean. Location is excellent with an amazing variety of cafes nearby and the train station to the city a short walk away. Owner was delightful to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.
Great house in great location
Our family of four (including two teenage children) loved our stay at this house. It was very comfortable with everything we needed. It had a lovely homely feel, spacious bedrooms and excellent heating. It had off-street parking which we put to good use - we parked our car and didn't need it again until it was time to head home. The house was ideally located for public transport with both the tram and train only a short walk away (it was a breeze to get to the MCG which was main purpose of visit). We loved the suburb - I was expecting to like it but we really loved it. It has great shops and cafes, a wonderful Sunday market, and beautiful residential streets (great for walks). If we ever return to Melbourne we'd love to stay here again.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. Love the position walking distance to great shops & restaurants public transport. Felt like a second home to us, so comfortable relaxing house.

With Camberwell train station just around the corner - a trip into the Australian Open, Queen Victorian Market & Theatre shows were a breeze.
We enjoyed evening strolls for frozen yogurt, a speciality wine/beer/cider store and the kids loved playing at the park which was within walking distance on Rathmines Rd.
The well stocked kitchen made cooking up a feast for the family easy and when booking our stay, communication via email was prompt and friendly.
We would highly recommend a stay at The Grand Hawthorn Victorian without hesitation.
