Master room has a custom privacy awning overhead to provide privacy from the loft area but also allows the ability to take advantage of the open beam ceiling feel and expanse of the floor to ceiling windows allowing in ample light, making the master room feel larger and airier. Guest loft bedroom has a queen size bed, computer, fax machine, private bath (semi private has pony wall for privacy. Due to the custom privacy awning over the master bedroom both rooms are not visible to each other allowing for semi privacy.

Girls Trip

The girls and myself loved our stay. The view was priceless, watching the whales from the belcony was our morning and evening routine. The location was perfect for us, especially for the Pacific Whale run in which we really would love make an annual event..

The only downside of our trip was my misfortune of braking my leg. So hope to not make that a ritual.

We did not know we had to do 3 levels of stairs as there were no elevators, never indicated. There was NO privacy as the down bedroom had wooden slots for a ceiling that looked straight up to the upstairs bedroom that had no walls or doors. The top windows had no shades or curtains so when the sun came up, we were up. I have done Home away before and never had to supply toilet paper, really! We were told when we arrived that the place may not be clean by 3 our check in time. It was ready thankfully! But it should NOT be my problem as I paid for a 3 arrival.

We did homeaway last year at Malakki Kai (spelling) just down the road, it was awesome from start to finish.

Owner's Response: We are always bummed to hear that a guest had an unsatisfactory stay as that is the very opposite of what our goal is here at our company I Go Maui Vacation Rentals & Realty. We did not know that the guests were unhappy until this review. We do follow up with guests after a night or two of stay and ask how everything is and nothing was mentioned. If there is an issue and we know about it we do everything in our power to take care of it and the guests needs to ensure a happy stay. We do note in the VRBO description content, as well as in the amenities under wheelchair and in the additional amenities "notes" that this condo is on the 3rd floor and that there is "no elevator". A complimentary starter kit of items is provided for the first few days of stay and additional replacement items can be purchased at any nearby grocery or convenience store by the guests. We do note this in the vrbo advertisement and in the pre-arrival information. Wall air-conditioners do tend to be a bit noisier by design than central or split systems but most guests don't find it to be an issue but we understand for others it can be an issue. It is true that the condo would be considered (semi-private). The guest room is a loft and there is some privacy provided by the pony wall that can be viewed in the photos. The master bedroom has a "custom privacy awning" that is noted in the vrbo description and under the amenities regarding beds. Guests from the master below "cannot" see guests in the loft and guests in the loft "cannot" see into the master. Please review the information for more details and please view photos. If there are questions please don't hesitate to let us know.

10 days over the Christmas Break

We stayed for 10 days over the Christmas break and loved this property. It was perfect for a family of four with enough room that everyone was comfortable. The condo is well stocked and very clean. There are beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler and beach toys in the condo which was fabulous. The location was excellent with a great beach that was never crowded. Turtles came in most days and we were able to snorkel out to see them.

My only complaints are that I had a hard time collecting quarters for the washer/dryer and it would be nice to have in condo laundry (although the laundry room is directly across the hall) and the ac unit was quite loud. Other than those minor complaints we were very happy here!

Owner's Response: Very happy to hear that the guests enjoyed the condo, beach and thought it was a perfect place for their family, just like so many who have stayed here before them! It is true that the condos at this complex have use of shared laundry facilities on each floor. This particular condo has the convenience of it being just 3 steps from the front door as the guest remarked, but yes you may want to bring quarters with you.

Beautiful beach front property

Lovely condo right by the beach. Love talking a stroll down the beach in the morning when there's no one around. Has everything in the condo - beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, plates, utensils, pans, plastic tupperware's, board games, TV, internet, etc. Feels like home. Laundry is right outside the room. My family and I had a great time here.

Clean condo, fantastic service!

Condo was kept very clean, excellent location to get around the entire island or just enjoy the beach in front. unfortunately our ac shorted out right when we checked in but Andreas was very responsive and had the ac unit replaced the next day, Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend! That's service!

What makes this condo unique

5 miles of uncrowded beach, whale watching in Maalaea Bay which is the Humpback Whale calving and breeding grounds during the winter months (November through April) right in front of the property! Ocean swimming, boogie boarding and surfing (during south swells), and windsurfing! The Pacific Whale foundation is a 10 minute walk from the property so you can walk to your whale watch tour, or take educational classes without a car! Walk to get something to eat, tourist shop, lite grocery shopping, or just simply walk the beach!
