Meals can be pre-ordered, the menu is on our website and we source it from Wursthaus in Salamanca, Hobart. If interested, we can organise our wonderful chef to come in and cook up a 5 course degustation menu , right infront of you....I highly recommend this experience. Beautiful local wines are available to purchase.

If interested you are welcome to book a interactive history farm tour of the property "Bloomfield". A short tour is included in your price, which gives you an idea of the expanse of the farm, what happens on the farm and to meet the owners.
Complimentary still or sparkling wine, homemade treats will be waiting on arrival,breakfast provisions will be there for you to linger over and a pantry full of goodies .
For those who are interested in the beautiful scenery there are 5 well marked tracks with maps.Lakes are stocked with Wild Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and Brook Trout, for those who are keen to do a spot of fishing. Or you can sit back and relax and watch various movies,play games,internet coverage or read the array of books and magazines .

Sally Wise's Cooking School is only a 40 minute drive from us and highly recommended.
Mt Field National Park including the Falls is only a 45 minute drive and offers beautiful, vast mountainous wilderness,magical tarns and snow skiing.
The Wall of Wilderness at Derwent Bridge,1 hour away is a stunning sculpture created by artist, Greg Duncan. He is creating the history of Tasmanian highlands in the form of a sculpted wall made from wood.
Nant Whisky Distillery is in Bothwell, only 35 minutes from us and a great spot for lunch and of course whisky tastings.
Salmon Ponds is a 40 minute drive and is the oldest trout hatchery in the Southern Hemisphere since 1864 and a great family outing.
Two Metre Tall is only a 20 minute drive from us and they brew their own ales and ciders using farm grown ingredients from their own 600 ha property, as well as ingredients sourced directly from farmers across the State. They have a fantastic farm bar which is opened every Sunday and Friday nights.... a must!
