Dream Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was a dream house in a dream location! We walked into Acadia Park several times and into Bar Harbor almost every day. Bob was so friendly and helpful and eager to answer any questions we had. The house was spotless and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped and so roomy for all of us to cook together. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Very nice

  • 5 of 5

I would definitely recommend this property, Bob was always within "shouting" distance and ready to answer any questions. The house was in an excellent location, and very roomy...there were 6 adults in our party and we never felt cramped for space. If I come back to Bar Harbor, I would definitely stay at this property again. Thanks Bob, for an enjoyable experience/trip.

Great Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. This house was very well situated for access to the park or a walk to town. The house itself is really nice and well taken care of. It is open and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

This home is in a great location.Easy walk to downtown and my favorite ice cream spot.House has many spots to read a book in quiet settings.Owners were quick to respond to get us fans on an unusually hot night.Rest of nights the Maine night air cooled us.Acadia Park was awesome.Lots to see and do and returning back to this home at night was wonderful.Owners always available but leave you alone to enjoy your vacation.Would love to return.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6, all adults stayed in the Million Dollar Location in June of 2015. Location says it all. The house is on a private lane, secluded in the woods, steps from Acadia and less then a 5 minute drive from Bar Harbor. Bob, the Owner is right there, always with a friendly wave hello, and always willing to give tips on hikes or where to eat (Side Street Cafe was our favorite). The House was clean and we had plenty of room. All you need is clothing and food. Everything else is provided, and the king size bed is so comfortable. At night, after hiking or biking, we enjoyed the back deck, relaxing and gazing at the stars and enjoying margaritas. We really enjoyed our home away from home, and will be back.

First Trip to Bar Harbor, ME

  • 5 of 5

We had been discussing with another couple, a trip to Maine for some time. When we discovered this home, the planning for the trip began in earnest. The home was exceptional. It had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect, close enough to town to enjoy all Bar Harbor has to offer, and far enough to be very private. The owners were very helpful with information and wonderful recommendations. Next trip is in the planning and we will be calling to reserve this lovely home.
