Great Quiet Scenic Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was neat, cozy, and clean, the fireplace worked great, and we loved walking to the river and seeing the covered bridge. It was also great to be so close to the Whites and we had two great hikes. The perfect weekend getaway! We would definitely return. Thank you Dan!

Cozy place with a good central location

  • 4 of 5

There were just two of us staying in this cozy place for the weekend. It was the perfect size for us. I could see a couple or a small family staying here (there is a sleeping loft, but it would be too dangerous for small children to climb and likely to small of an area for teenagers). The property was clean, well kept and quiet. The property owner was responsive and helpful. We greatly appreciated his willingness to accommodate our schedule. There is a lovely restaurant within walking distance, and only a short drive to several nearby towns for supplies and sightseeing. Would consider staying here again if we came to the area.

Moderately comfortable

We enjoyed the location, however we had no hot water or heat for our stay other than that it was fine. Could have used a good spring cleaning before we arrived also.

Great cozy location

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely three night weekend at this cozy cottage. It was conveniently located to Loon Mountain and the kangamangus highway. We walked to the local pub and had great food. We will definitely be returning!

Quirky little property in a great location

Just as described, it suited us for our hiking explorations of The White Mountains.

It was a warm and comfortable place. A short walk to the local bar serving a fine selection of draft ales.
