About Tony Rodd
My wife, Liz and I are a couple of GenX's (one a little more GenX than the other). We love to travel and have done so extensively, within Australia and over seas. We love nature, the out doors, camping, etc. I am an avid amateur photographer and have found living here a digital photographic wonderland. From a dew soaked spider web on a crisp Winters morn to our goats (particularly the beautiful kids that arrive each Spring), the bush and the beauty of The is never a dull photographic day here. As the hosts at Clear Creek Cottage we consider ourselves to be warm, friendly folk who enjoy meeting travellers from all walks of life. We love sharing our experiences and our home with others. We are pretty relaxed and laid back on the surface but still take the business of looking after our guests very seriously. We want your stay with us to be the accommodation highlight of your holiday in Tasmania!
Tony Rodd purchased this Cottage in 2011
Why Tony Rodd chose Woodbridge
We came to Tasmania in 2011 seeking a "tree change" we found it! Our previous lives did not entail any experience of living on a rural property so it has been a steep learning curve since arriving here. Thank goodness for YouTube!! We have goats looking after the paddocks, chooks providing us with fresh eggs and we grow fruit and veg including garlic, lot's of garlic!
What makes this Cottage unique
Beautiful rural location surrounded by rolling hills, native fauna and flora, lush green paddocks and the cool flowing waters of Clear Creek.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful stay
Attention to detail like no other! We both agreed this was the best place we've ever stayed at. We loved how welcome we felt.
Clean and fresh, comfortable and a bit special, with lots of little surprises. The fresh bread and local supplies on arrival were a godsend. We loved the coffee and great range of books, games and DVDs.
Very private and a spectacular location for exploring the property and region. One of the Channel's hidden secrets!
Many thanks for those kind words Michael. We really enjoyed having you and Mandi stay at the cottage. All the best with whatever you do in the future and let us know if you head down our way.
Regards, Tony & Liz.
The cottage has everything a couple needs for an outstanding break in the countryside. Tony and Liz have an excellent eye for detail with loads of extra bits provided to make your stay enjoyable.
Cheers Stuart. Great to have you and Sandre stay. Glad you got your fix of cold weather. Regards, Tony & Liz.
They've thought of everything!
Clear creek cottage is perfect for a romantic get away, a girly catch up or even a solo quiet weekend to treat yourself.
My friend and I had an amazing time just unwinding, enjoying the local food provided and relaxing in this cute and quiet cottage. The bath was greatly appreciated and we loved having the option of heaters or the wood fire.
Already planning when to visit again.
Thanks Emily. Pleasure having the both of you hear. Welcome back any time. Regards, Tony & Liz.
Very quaint accommodation in a lovely setting. The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed provided. Lovely big bath. Lots of places to go walking, a creek to play in (take you back to being a kid!), and the whole property is impeccably maintained. The owners are environmentally conscious and part of the property is reserved for wild life, which means that between dawn and dusk there are all manners of Gods Australian creatures in the yard. Its ideally located in the best part of Tasmania.
Thanks so much Natalie and Jerry. Lovely to have you stay with us. So glad you enjoyed yourselves. Hope to see you again sometime. Regards, Tony & Liz.
Fabulous cottage beautifully appointed. Great breakfast provisions and many little extra treats. Hosts are very helpful -loverly family.
Thanks Christine. Enjoyed having you here. All the best with the tree change! Regards, Tony & Liz.
Great place to stay whilst exploring the Huon Valley. Breakfast hamper was amazing with all fresh produce including home made bread. Thank you, it was a perfect couple of days.
Thanks Heidi and Mark. Pleasure having you here. Glad you enjoyed yourselves. All the best, Tony & Liz.
