Great location, comfortable cottage.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the first stay so much that we returned a couple of months later! The location is wonderful - a view of the Hazards, very close to shop and restaurant and not far from a couple of beaches (easy walking distance). The cottage is cosy with a great wood heater, very clean, roomy. It retains some of its quaint architecture from the early days of being a shack, adding to its charm. Peter was very attentive to queries.

Cosy, warm and quiet.

  • 5 of 5

The property is as presented in the photos and very clean.

My parents (from NSW) were pleasantly surprised at how warm and comfortable the cottage was. The wood heater was amazing, even warmed the bedrooms.

The view from the kitchen of the Hazards Is beautiful.

Interaction with Peter was pleasant, friendly and prompt.

I would recommend this property and intend making a return visit.

Just average

  • 3 of 5

No doubt Peter is a very good host providing lots of info and touching base with the guests well in advance. Cottage has a very nice view but we thought it was just average. Electric circuit breaker kept tripping when we turn the heater in the bathroom on. Huge red ants found in the bathroom, I didn't want my 7-yr old niece to be bitten so I had to keep an eye on it. With the price that we paid we were expecting more.

Owner's Response: Hi Jess, Thanks for alerting me to the heater issue, I will have it checked out. I will place some further ant-rid in that area and arrange for some fumigation safe travels
