About the property

The Beach House on Morris is an older style house which sleeps up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms. The house has spacious living areas and with 2 bathrooms it can accomodate 1 or 2 families.

Set on a 1500m block, the property is fully fenced making it ideal for children to play safely in the gardens. Well behaved pets are allowed. There are two decked areas for outdoor BBQ's or just sitting and relaxing in the sun.

The kitchen is original - functional but dated - with fridge, microwave, dishwasher and oven.

One bathroom is large with a spa bath, toilet and access to the master bedroom. The second bathroom is original - shower and toilet - functional but dated.

Features include large flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo with iPod player, washing machine, fridge, microwave, 10 seat table/chairs, BBQ, and outdoor setting.

It's an easy, flat walk to the bay beach - 1km.

Bedroom layout - sleeps 10

Master bedroom has a queen sized bed with ensuite access to main bathroom. There is a TV in this bedroom.

2nd bedroom has a two bunk beds (sleeps 4). There is also a TV for the kids to watch their movies or play computer games.

3rd bedroom has a queen bed.

4th bedroom has a queen bed.

In order for us to keep the price down, we ask that you bring your own linen - sheets and towels (pillows and doonas are provided). Linen can be provided for a fee.

Enjoyed our stay at Beach House on Morris. Very homely older style, has all you need there. The Beach Magnificent. ? Very quiet surroundings. Only thing was the Cleaners, not to good would rate them 5/10. We left the place spotless and alot cleaner. Would stay there again though, No Worries.

Spacious and peaceful

We have stayed a few times and this property is constantly improving. The house is large and great for our big family - and good value. The spacious double block gives the kids and our dog plenty of room to run around in a secure back yard. The bedrooms have been freshly painted and have new carpet. There is a fantastic our door shower that is great when you have come back from the beach. The big plus this year was a huge new deck - a pleasure to relax with a coffee in the morning or a drink in the afternoon. The house is very comfortable and we'll be back next year!

Comfortable Stay

My partner and I wanted to have a quiet weekend away from the city, and this property was perfect for that. The backyard was large, the house was clean and tidy. The house is a short drive from a quiet and relaxing beach. We will definitely be back again in the future. It is great for a getaway.

We had a relaxing stay with all the equipment we required. The back yard was large and securely fenced for our dogs. The house is rather dated and a bit run down, carpet badly stained, small holes in walls. It was quite musty when we arrived. Not really walking distance to the beach (although on the map it looks like it is). Lots of rules and regulations made us think it was going to be pristine and perfect. Never had to sweep floors before or empty the dishwasher - usually just set it going as we left. No rangehood was strange and didn't see any smoke alarms - bit of a concern with a wood fire heater......

We advertise the house as an older style house with the kitchen and bathroom in original condition - and it is priced accordingly. We aim to provide a value for money property that allows guests with even a lower budget to have a holiday. If guests are not expected to leave the house reasonably as they found it, then the pricing would have to increase to pay for the additional cleaning time. We are gradually updating the house and garden as we can. Our guests appreciate the large garden with the outdoor shower now that has been tidied and improved. We have made it secure so that guests can bring their dogs - often also part of the family. We also aim to provide all the essentials that you need in the house. The cream carpet has been a challenge to keep clean, as most guests spill things in the bedrooms and do not clean up afterwards. I recall that I apologised for the carpet before your stay - replacement carpet has now been ordered. Thanks again for your suggestions - most appreciated ...
