About Deborah Stagg
I developed a keen interest in tourism, after working for the Devonport Council, in their promotions team. I love Tasmania, and especially Devonport and the North West Coast where I was born and have always lived and worked. I decided to purchase and operate an accommodation business, so I could share my local knowledge with travellers arriving in Devonport.
Deborah Stagg purchased this House in 2012
Why Deborah Stagg chose Devonport
Cameo is an ideal property in size and location, and highlights the beauty of living in Devonport - Tasmania. The property has a history - 100 years old!

Beautiful, charming, great amenities and friendly service
My first impression after a long drive and work day was to be greeted with a warm house, kettle on and a great tea and coffee
Spotlessly clean, great location and Lots of
Charm. I just wish I'd had a longer stay!
Welcoming, comfortable property
A prompt response and warm tone set the scene for what was a lovely stay in this character property. Comfortably furnished, I wish I had been able to stay longer as it could easily feel like a home away from home. The personal touches of being greeted by the lovely host Deborah, with homemade cookies and the kettle boiled, to the flower arrangements made it a soothing welcome to the end of a long work day. Close to walking tracks along the river and the shopping precinct.(don't miss Hills Stores - AMAZING fresh Tasmanian food selection) it is a place I would recommend for couples, families and corporates alike.
We had a wonderful stay. The owner has thought of everything and all the little personal touches really make the place. The backyard is gorgeous!
Thank you for your kind words. Our cottage garden is forever changing and my favourite rose, Pierre de Ronsard has put on a fabulous display this season. The verandah is always a favourite spot with guests to view the backyard.
So comfortable and homely, I wish we could have had more than one night at this cottage
