Wonderful, healing place.
We hosted a Retreat here and the entire property was so beautiful and healing.
We use the Pavilion for workshops and found it to have a beautiful outlook, plus the ipod dock was handy.
The house was grand. So beautiful. Attention to detail was amazing.
The owner is lovely and welcoming.
Could not have had a better Retreat setting.
We even went bush walking and played catch with the dogs!
Thank you Belle. Your group were fabulous, you brought wonderful resonance to the Estate and it was my pleasure to welcome you. Hopefully we can find another date for you soon.....Brenda
Another great stay
Another great Christmas in July weekend for 7 girlfriends, lots of chat, lots of food, lots of wine and lots of fun. We have already booked again for next year. Nothing is ever to much trouble.
.....and you are soooooo welcome!!!
Lovely place but too many rules
We hired the place for our family to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. Its a lovely big house with beautiful gardens. Its well appointed and private and was easily spacious enough to cater for out 9 adults and 5 kids. However we did feel the place had too many rules and restrictions that sadly didn't really allow us to feel totally comfortable. Things like don't adjust the air conditioning and don't use after 11pm..? I mean when you're paying top dollar for a place? And we were expected to vacuum on departure..? Nobody minds leaving the place in good condition - but we didn't want to end our w/e as cleaners. Also wouldn't really recommend if you have small kids. Again things like no balls games on the lawn, no climbing on furniture etc. made it feel not very child friendly. So we rated the place as good overall on most categories, but maybe not for everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to reply David. It was my pleasure to provide the Venue for your parents 50th Anniversary. Sadly due to previous Guests treatment and inconsideration of the Venue we have found it necessary to create guidelines to what we would expect as common sense from welcome guests such as yourselves. Previously many items have needed to be replaced not to mention bed wetting and wall graffiti. Food left under beds, unmentionables throughout bathrooms etc etc.... Ball games being played without any consideration to the established gardens. Damage has been hidden purposely. There are huge areas to accommodate play without 'unintentionally' damaging the Gardens. Honestly you have NO IDEA!!! Regarding cleaning, we only ask that guests leave the property as they found it. I don't appreciate candle wax in the carpet, bedside tables or any furniture (previous guests..!!) Over the past four years he have hosted many many family reunions and numerous repeat returns. The standards we place on the Residence provides a place where you can continue returning to and know every effort is made to ensure the quality and comfort is provided for you. We love sharing the property with children and responsible parents. Regards Brenda Ibels
Our yearly migration for our "Megs Mob" Christmas in July weekend was made even better by the locality, not too far for us to travel, but we could of being anywhere in the world. Great house, fantastic grounds and surounds. We have rebooked for next year, well worth a stay.
Fabulous to accommodate you and so looking forward to greeting you again this year...............Fun Fun Fun!! Brenda
