wonderful property

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Halcyon Cottage as it was warm and cosy. Loved the decor and the front and backyards with all the flowers and fruit trees. It was particularly fabulous for our dog Tasha as she felt very comfortable and love roaming the fenced-in backyard. Nice and safe. So close to the village was an added bonus. Thank you Amanda and David for such a welcoming and comfortable place for us three.

Excellent property

We enjoyed our stay in the house it was warm and felt like home , there was a safe yard for our dog and the orange trees were fruiting and we were able to have fresh juice each day for breakfast. The little village of Kangaroo Valley has a very friendly atmosphere.

Incredible stay

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely brilliant. Lights on and music playing when we arrived. Full of character, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen and just an all-round fantastic place to stay. Brilliant location for the village, 2 min walk to the shops. Really couldn't fault - would stay again in a heartbeat. Oh and great for dogs, we took our little one and he had so much fun running around in the pretty enclosed garden to the rear. Thanks!

Beautiful house

  • 4 of 5

We had a very comfortable stay. Except for the backyard light bulb which was not working the rest of house was fully equipped with everything we needed. It would be nice to have also had wifi access at the property.

Lovely cottage

Beautiful quiet cottage full of interesting antiques and artifacts a few minutes walk from the town center. Lovely garden with big grapefruit and Mandarin trees, which made for lovely fresh juices in the morning.

Perfect peace

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful period home is furnished with antiques period pieces. The attention to detail in the restoration of the house is marvellous. I drank mandarin juice from the tree in the garden, sat on the peaceful sunny back deck with my dogs and enjoyed the extensive DVD collection. There are two television rooms and there's a claw foot bathtub which I enjoyed. There were flowers in vases when I arrived and everything was clean. I can't fault it.
