This modern Malibu beachfront home is situated on a spectacular sandy cove. Designed by noted architect Ed Niles, the home has master bedrooms upstairs and down. Each level has its own granite-topped kitchen.

Steps lead to one of the most pristine beaches in West Malibu. Celebrity neighbors cherish the location for both its beauty and its privacy. Accessed via security gate with intercom, the house has a two-car garage, and extra off-highway parking is available in the owner's lot on the private road.

Amenities include flat-screen HD TV's, Frontier Communications (formerly Verizon) TV service with HD DVR's, Fiber Optic (FiOS) 50/50Mbps Internet with Wi-Fi, nationwide telephone calls and limited international calling plan.

To really make the most of your stay, we can also help you hire a car, chef, bartender, yoga instructor, massage specialist, housekeeper, etc.

Available for short-term or long-term lease. Extra fees are charged for special events.

About Chris Blakely

The property, situated on a hidden cove in West Malibu, has been in the owners' family since 1948. The house was redesigned in 1992 by noted architect Ed Niles. Owned by two brothers since 2010, the house has been refurbished inside and out. Travertine floors upstairs were refinished in September 2015, and new sliding screen doors for the picture windows were installed in November 2015.

Why Chris Blakely chose Malibu

This secluded beach is in one of the most beautiful coves in all of Malibu. That is why it has been chosen as a film location by celebrities. It is conveniently close to Zuma Beach, Trancas, and Point Dume to the south, Leo Carrillo, County Line and Neptune's Net to the north.

We are a short drive up the coast from the Malibu Pier, Surfrider Beach, the Malibu Colony, Pepperdine University, Geoffrey's Restaurant and Paradise Cove.

Perfect location for swimming, kayaking, surfing, diving, fishing, standup paddling, skimboarding, windsurfing, or just relaxing!

3.5 miles from Trancas Canyon/Broad Beach shopping center.

Little known fact: during the filming of the movie 'The Fan' the studio rented the house to provide 'green rooms' for actors Robert De Niro and Wesley Snipes.

Lovely Malibu Home

We had a wonderful stay at this Malibu home! It is perfect for a family or group with large family living, dining and kitchen areas, all with amazing views over the ocean. The kids loved the beach, we played lots of beach spike ball and took long walks. We were greeted by dolphins, whales and seals that swam by during breakfast. And there are great hiking trails just across the Pacific Coast Highway for every level of hiker. You will have a terrific time at this house!

Numerous memorable qualities

This is a beautiful well maintained property located a pristine, tranquil, oceanfront cove. It was unanimous. Our adult children loved the property as much as we did. Chris, the property owner, was exceptional. Our initial query about the property had an immediate response. His wealth of information on the area was an added bonus. We booked a second visit within days of our trip. No issues or complaints. We made an excellent choice.

Lovely home on Malibu's most secluded beach

The big draw for this house -- and the reason you should give it serious consideration -- is the beach it sits on. Most of the other homes on this beach are located on the cliffs above, so there's none of the crowded feeling -- found elsewhere in Southern California beaches -- of houses lined up on the sand, shoulder-to-shoulder. Better yet, this house is far from public beaches and even inaccessible to neighboring coves during high tide. When we stayed there for a week, we basically saw no one else walking on or using the beach. Wow!

Year after year this area receives awards for having the most pristine water in Southern California. Sit on the porch and watch dolphins frolic in the surf 20 yards away.

The house itself is spacious and well-maintained. The owner -- Chris -- responds quickly to any problems or issues that might arise.

As always nothing comparable

This was our 2nd visit to Chris's Malibu home on the ocean and it even surpassed our previous experience and expectations!

As was our previous experience Chris kept in contact and was always readily available for whatever we might need.

The home is sterically clean, the crushing waves at your doorstep and the serenity of a private community. Sunrise and sets only describable by lense. Sea life in abundance and champagne on our arrival.

No hotels could rival this experience in Malibu. We've done it twice and if we're smiled upon will be back on our next trip to CA.

Thank you Chris for sharing your nirvana with us folks.

We'll definitely be back!

Perfect location with perfect view!!

This is my second year at Chris's place. The location in Malibu is ideal and the beach access is exactly as described. It's like having your own private quarter mile of beach.. Sunset's are picturesque and Chris is a perfect host. I stayed in the private downstairs and kids upstairs. I'm already booked for next year..A+++
