About Judy Walsh
After 25 years as a corporate executive, I have begun a new career as an innkeeper with my vacation rental in Austin. With my love of travel, and background in marketing and sales, it is the perfect fit. My husband Dennis and I have stayed in VRBOs for many years and so I have a good sense of what guests need and want for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We absolutely love the live music scene in Austin, and the youthful, spontaneous nature of urban living. We are avid bikers and spend a lot of time exploring the bike trails and paths around town. Everything we do is within a few mile radius of our home, including our vacation rental. That means we can make sure everything is in top shape for our guests, and respond quickly should any problems arise.

We moved here in 1982 and stayed for 17 years as we developed our careers and businesses, and started our family. In the late 90’s opportunity took us away for 10 years. In 2009, we chose to come back “home” to our favorite place to live, Austin, Texas., with its relaxed lifestyle, friendly hospitality, and edgy personality.
What makes this Townhome unique
This is the perfect place to be in central Austin. Our vacation home is right on the west edge of the downtown core, just outside the historic Clarksville neighborhood. There is hike and bike trail access just around the corner, which is a fun way to explore around town. And if you want to go for a night on the town, the cab or ride share fare home is about $6-$10. The list of conveniences is endless, but we love it that Austin Java is right across the street, not only for coffee, but they also have great food for breakfast, lunch and casual dinner. A great selection of beers on tap is just 100 steps away at The Tavern. Plus, you can walk to Whole Foods, Waterloos Records where they sometimes have live music in the parking lot, Book People, and the Capitol.

Loved this house!
Four of my girlfriends and I had a "college reunion" in Austin last weekend. The house was absolutely perfect! Super clean, great back porch (where we spent lots of hours drinking coffee and chatting!) Loved Austin Java and the Tavern, both right across the street, and we were able to walk to Whole Foods and check out the bars on 6th. Also went for a long run through Pease Park. Thank you Judy for an excellent weekend!
Great location and well appointed clean house.
We enjoyed the stay. Walked out to restaurants and bars. Very quiet at night. Light traffic on Parkway makes it easy to get in and out. Loved the house.

Motogp Weekend (plus some)
First time in Austin, came to town for the MotoGP. Judy's house was a great feature. Spent several days exploring downtown parks restaurants and clubs and had a blast. Very convenient location. Comfy beds. What more do you need? Judy was very helpful suggesting things to do, see and eat.

We think it's a great place in a good area.
We've stayed here twice now and plan to stay here again. It's clean, central, has everything we need so it is perfect for us.
