Why Eline van de Kam chose Amsterdam

The apartment is situated in the very center of historical AMSTERDAM 🌹, just a few minutes walking distance from the Anne Frank house. Its the very authentic style, the deep historic value that brought me here. I have been living here for twenty years now, and every morning waking up to the chimes of the Westerkerk with gratitude in my heart. Such a blessed place to be. 🌹

Guestbook comments from the manager

We loved staying at the flat for the facilities, great position and great support Marie provided. It was excellent for our family of four. The flat was in a fantastic position: close to the shopping district of Amsterdam, canals, Anne Franks Museum etc. Marie met us on arrival and communicated clearly and openly beforehand. Thankyou Andrew and Sharon. Perth Western Australia.

Great Stay in the Jordaan

  • 5 of 5

We would definitely recommend staying at Eline's apartment. She was a great hostess who greeted us when we arrived, made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us great suggestions for things to do in the area. The apartment was not very big (we are a family of four), but just enough space for what we needed. And it is nicely finished and well appointed. The location is great too. There are a lot of stairs to the apartment (it's on 3rd floor, but that's four levels up from the street), but the views and light are so nice. Also there is no laundry, but Eline says there is an easy laundry service nearby. Eline also made sure to help us with transportation at the end of our trip and saw us off the morning we left. Thank you again, Eline!

Owner's Response: The apartment on the fourth floor is well suited for families. With a place to chill out after intense days in the city. The view over the Jordaan and the Westerchurch is worth the daily climb of four flights 😅 . Thanks for staying at my apartment, lovely family! You are very welcome any time again. Warm greetings from Amsterdam. 🌷 Eline.

Great neighborhood, wonderful apartment, friendly owner

  • 5 of 5

My wife, 11 year old son and I recently stayed at Eline's apartment in the Jordaan neighborhood of Amsterdam, and we loved the place. The apartment is in a quiet location - just off the Prinsengracht canal, two - three blocks from Westerkerk and the Anne Frank House, near the beginning of the "nine streets" shopping area. (It is easy to reach by cab or public transport from train station.) In eight minutes you are in the Dam Square. In another ten you can be at the flower market or at the train station. In fact, everything is in walking distance. We really liked walking around in the Jordaan neighborhood - cool shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. Eline leaves you a binder full of great places to go, including supermarkets in the area, like Marqt. We liked the Wester Cafe and the Happy Pig Pancake Shop. Great fries right by the Westerkerk. My son loved the Space Oddity toy store near the apartment.

When you return to the apartment, you return to a quiet, clean, spacious place. The skylights really brighten the place. The bathroom was spacious, and the beds were comfy - both were fully stocked. The kitchen, dining, and seating area provided plenty of space for the three of us. We loved resting on the couch, reading as we wound down our day. As others have mentioned there are stairs, but my 11 year old had no problem with them; he found them to part of the fun.

Eline was great to work with. She communicates well and efficiently. The inquiry, booking, check-in and check-out were smooth. Not only that but Eline is super friendly and positive. Thanks for a great time Eline. We hope to be back soon.

Owner's Response: The apartment offers a light and quiet space to unwind after a hard day of city sight seeing. Situated on the fourth floor in the very center of the oldest part of Amsterdam asks some work out.(four flights without elevator). The kitchen is well equipped for some fine home cooking. Thanks for staying as my guests. The apartment is very well suited for families like yours. Happy to welcome you again any time. Be well 🌹 Eline

Clean. Nice view. Helpful host.

  • 5 of 5

You have a view from one bed room of all the roof tops. From the other you can see the ann frank house and a nice church. Really quite calm area but a quick walk to the tourist attractions. There is a grocery stor a bakery and a pub near by. Host was very organized and gave clear directions.

Owner's Response: Staying right in the center of Amsterdam, yet far away from the noise . Worth the climb of four flights, having this tremendous view over the Jordan area, the Westerkerk and Anne Frank house. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen; for some cosy breakfasts and home cooked dinners. A sweet little hide-away to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thanks for staying as my guests! 🌹 Eline

Comfortable and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Eline's apartment was wonderful! The beds were large and super comfortable, the apartment is very light and bright. While we were Amsterdam, it rained many of the days. What was wonderful, was to fall asleep or wake up to the sound of the rain on the skylights and roof. The shower was very large and there was lots of hot water. Though we did not use it, the kitchen was spacious and very nice new appliances. The neighborhood was very quiet and we always felt very safe. Just around the corner were many wonderful restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying at Eline's apartment.

Owner's Response: The apartment is perfectly fitted for a family. With a fully equipped kitchen for homecooking and dining at home, and space for chilling out after intense days in the city. It is four flights up (no elevator) but the reward is a bright and light place to call your home during your stay in Amsterdam. Happy to have you as my guests! You moved about the city; relaxed and joyful like local Amsterdammy residents. Highest regards, Eline (owner) 🌹

Great stay in Amsterdam

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at the apartment. Eline was a great host and communicated with us well before we left the states and met us as when we arrived. The apartment is very nice and modern and the four of us had plenty of room. The location is very central and we walked to all the sights. There are four flights of stairs and no elevator but we knew that and we were prepared. We would definitely stay here again!

Owner's Response: So happy to have welcomed you in Amsterdam as my guests, lovely family from San Francisco. Hahaha, climbing the four flights a few times a day saves you a workout at the gym and allows an extra pancake! 😀 The apartment is very well equipped for a family like yours, with some space for chillin' and relaxing and a fine kitchen for home cooked breakfasts and other meals. Hope to see you again one day, when your daughters bring their future families to show the city of Amsterdam, bless them ❤️. Eline 🌺

Fantastic stay in an beautiful appartment

  • 5 of 5

The hostess gave us a warm welcome and showed us the entire appartment. She was very nice and gave us some good advices.

It is a loft apartment with lots of lights from top windows and the rooms. Toilet and bath is new and clean. Kitchen is also very nice and there is dishwasher which is perfect when you want to cook or make breakfeast.

It has two nice double beds. One in a room and another in the living room. However you can close with curtains.

All in all an apparment to recommend.

Owner's Response: Thanks for choosing Apartment 46, in the very heart of the city. 🌺 A quiet space to relax after an intense day in town. The apartment is just 300 meters away from the Anne Frank house, and most places of interest are on walking distance. The apartment offers a home-away-from-home feeling. Situated on the fourth floor (no elevator) so it offers a sunny and light view over the Jordaan area and the Westerkerk. Highest regards, you were amazing guests! ❤️ Eline (Vermieterin/host)
