Broulee Headland Beach House

Bedrooms 3
Property type house

About the property

This is a unique, secluded, pet friendly beach house. It is situated on a double property (huge garden) fully surrounded by casuarina trees, away from residential streets and perched on Broulee headland overlooking the ocean. This is an original 1950's beach house with a 6-burner Ilve stove+oven, a large Rennai gas heater, a huge Sony TV, a washing machine and dryer, and a beautiful fire place. It has views from the verandah and the kitchen to the north to Broulee bay. Three different beaches are within walking distance (100/150 meters). There are magical paths out the back gate through the bush to Shark Bay (150 meters), a secluded almost aquarium-like bay, a peninsula protected nature reserve (400 meters), and two surf beaches (south Broulee, 100 meters; north Broulee, 500 meters). You'll have total silence except for the birds (and the occasional plane flying into Moruya airport 10 kms to the south). There is a great cafe with fantastic coffee and breakfasts/lunches at Mossy Point 3 kms to the north (a 20 min walk along the beach). Amazing dining at The River Restaurant in Moruya 10kms to the south.

Perfect beach holiday

This low key property was perfect. Best location in Broulee and very comfortable with every amenity we needed. Great for us and for our dog!

Simple & Fantastic!

  • 4 of 5

My family and our labrador thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Broulee Headland Beach House. We look forward to returning there soon. The house is simple but fully functional with excellent appliances. Secluded but central location, a contradiction in terms, but true! We love it!

Beautiful and serene.

Lovely house in a beautiful location. The house was clean and nicely presented. Very homely and warm. Beautiful and worth going to even in the middle of winter. Some beautiful beach walks to go on only meters from the house.

Peaceful and relaxing

  • 4 of 5

If you want to get away from suburbia and relax in the bush with a short walk to 3 beaches, this is the place to be. It's not 5-star accommodation, but has everything you could want for a great family holiday. The kitchen has an excellent stove and is well-equipped. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer so I was able to get everything clean and dry despite the wet weather. The kids loved playing in the yard and the dog had a wonderful time racing around as well. Two of the nearby beaches are dog friendly and both have off-leash areas. It is also just a short walk to the supermarket and takeaway.
