We were born and raised in Charleston, SC our entire family going back to early 1900's, and we always took vacations at Folly Beach. Even though we were 25 minutes away from Folly -it felt like thousands when you were a child. Once Folly gets in your blood you never you always return.

My family purchased this property from a lady who's father built it in 1936. She was a friend of my mom and both of them were involved in The Women's Transportation Club on the Waterfront. It meant the world to the seller that we would keep the property in the original shape--which we have honored all these years.

What makes this studio unique

We are in the 'Heart' of the City of Folly Beach. In the late evening just sitting outside watching every walk of life past you---you cannot help but say--"This is so Folly".

Folly Beach is definitely the melting pot of America.

Very cool spot, right in the thick of the Folly action!

Everything you need is there. Carl is a gracious host, who feels like an old friend. Location is perfect! Don't miss the excellent free coffee at Bert's, flowing 24/7/365. Cheese slices at Slice pizzeria are out-of-this world! Can't wait to return. Thanks Carl and Griffen!

Great place to stay!

We love our stay! The location was perfect! We never had to use our car. Bert’s Market has everything you need and great food! Carl was more than hospitable! We definitely plan to come back. Also, Taco Boy was amazing!

Awesome spot with an awesome host!

My boyfriend and I stayed 4 nights here, and had a great time! Carl (the host) is really friendly and always up for a quick chat, and the location couldn't be better.

We didn't even notice that there wasn't a full kitchen, with so many delicious food options on the island and downtown Charleston a 20 minute drive away!

This property is perfect for a couple. We walked to everything and the owners were awesome.

This is a great location if you want to be near the action. It is right across from the pier and beach. All the restaurants and shops are within a few blocks. We didn’t use our car at all. The setup is basically two rooms. There is a room with a refrigerator, small sink, small cabinet, microwave, and also the shower. The other room is a nice sized bedroom with attached half bath. There is also a nice outdoor hang out spot under the deck of the owners above. The owners were very nice and fun to talk to. They let us know that we were free to use anything in the property including beach chairs that were in the patio. The only possible negative for some would be the road noise during busy times of the year. The owner operates a pay for parking lot on this property. We were not bothered by the noise and actually enjoyed meeting the people coming and going. We definitely plan on coming back again. Our favorite spots were The Lost Dog Cafe for breakfast and Taco Boy for dinner.

This property is perfect for two people and a short stay!

The place is so nicely decorated and clean. Carl, the owner is so gracious and friendly. Could not ask for a better host! The location is perfect---park at your door and walk everywhere! Only steps away from the center of everything including the beach. We had a great time and would definitely stay at this suite again.
