This newly remodeled and redecorated beachfront condo must be seen to be believed! An 8th floor 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit that is perfect for multiple families or an extended family. Enjoy tile floors, designer furnishings, spa like master bath with double vanity sinks and walk-in shower, stainless steel appliances and much more. Adults and children alike will be at home in the spacious living area with a dining table for six, bar area that accommodates four, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large sitting area. From the living room you can either enjoy the panoramic ocean view or a blu-ray DVD on the 50' flat screen HDTV. At night, adults can retreat to the privacy of their luxury King and Queen bedrooms with 32' flat screen HDTVs, while the children enjoy the 2 sets of bunk beds in the 'bunk bed' room. In this condo, there is no need for anyone to sleep on a pull out couch! (There is one though, if it is needed.)

Bedroom Features:: Master Bedroom: Spacious master with a wonderful view of the ocean, beach and resort grounds. Bedroom features a king bed with an incredibly comfortable plush mattress. Spa–like private bathroom with walk-in shower and double sink vanity makes getting ready a breeze. Master suite also features a hanging closet and a 32” HDTV with cable and a DVD player.

Queen Bedroom: Spacious and bright bedroom featuring all new premium Queen suite furniture including an incredibly comfortable plush mattress. Queen bedroom also features a hanging closet and a 32” HDTV with cable.

Bunk Bedroom: A fun, bright ocean-themed bedroom featuring two bunk beds that sleeps four comfortably with room left over. Directly across from the 2nd shared bathroom for easy access. This room provides an 8th floor view of the bay and the Queen Isabella Causeway. Safety features include permanently attached ladders and guard rails for the top beds to please even the most cautious.

Living Area Features:: Kitchen: Spacious and open with all new stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator with ice maker, glass-top range, large microwave oven and dishwasher. Kitchen is also extensively equipped with all the other necessities such as an excellent beverage blender, coffee maker, toaster, a variety of cookware and cooking utensils, glassware, dinnerware, and flatware. Large countertop and bar area with bar stools.

Dining Room: Seating for 6 at a new glass-top dining room table with a view of the great outdoors or the 50” flat screen HDTV.

Living Room: Comfortable indoor lounging space for the group featuring an inviting plush couch, loveseat and occasional chair. This space provides direct view of the 50” flat screen HDTV or the outdoor beach scene.

Other Features:: Balcony: A wonderfully large and relaxing space providing excellent views of the ocean, beach and resort amenities. Big enough for a party or lazy eating for 8 with totally unobstructed views of the ocean, main pool, tennis courts, poolside bar and resort grounds.

Other: Washer/Dryer located on same floor just steps away. In addition, towel/sheet switch out service available for no additional charge… just drop towels/sheets off at service less than a mile away and pickup clean ones (once a day max).

Great location, convenient beach access

Loved the easy access to everything from our room!! Laundry room right outside the door, big pool shaded in afternoon great for those kids who overdid it in the sun but still want to play. Rooms were perfect, especially the kids bunk beds all in one room. Plenty of space and amenities to cook for two families. Local restaurants were awesome, highly recommend Blackbeards and Pier 19, both family friendly! We had a few issues with our condo but they jumped right on getting them resolved. Safe, gated complex. Highly recommend you stop in Port Isabel for paper towels and toilet paper first. Thanks Lori, for the great vacation rental!

Totally worth it!

The view from the balcony was outstanding and the condo was even more spacious than it looks in pictures! We had eveything we needed as far as dishes, flatware, towels etc. The laundry room and trash dump is conveniently located right outside the front door. The elevators are not air conditioned so they were hot and muggy but definitely not a deal breaker. The whole property was very well maintained and had security officers stationed in several places. We suggest you bring a wagon for carrying things to the beach. 3 pools on the property, one with a bar (drinks were expensive) and food shack (didn't eat there). The only negative thing was the maids leave an envelope for you to put a tip in, but since there's a $350 cleaning fee we didn't think it was necessary. Lori was great to work with and answered messages in a timely manner. We will definitely consider this condo again in the future!

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the review! Per our conversation, the one time maid fee is $95 (the charge you referenced was tax on your stay). We recently changed maid services, so thanks for letting me know about the tip envelope. I contacted the cleaning service and they confirmed that this is their policy. I will be sure to let future guests know that this is voluntary and that they should not feel compelled to leave a tip.

Large, no frills, property for a big group

We have been coming to SPI (and specifically Saida) for over 10 years as a large group & this is by far the most basic unit we have stayed in. We love to visit the island, and will always recommend a visit. The condo housed two families for a week fine, there was enough space for us all to be together without feeling cramped. Good views.

We had several small things creep up however; no hangers in closets (so unusable); no sheet pans in the kitchen (sparse cooking utensils generally); no hooks (or very few) to hang wet towels from the shower, sink, or beach; couldn't work the TV and eventually had to buy new batteries (and even then there was no channel guide or instructions etc.); useless broom...small things that added up over time. We have small children, so cooking at home is a must, and so are cartoons, even at the beach. Keep in mind too, this is the furthest away location from the beach on the property, so there is a little walk with all your gear involved.

This unit also was not ready for us upon check in @ 4, and the cleaning lady didn't leave until 5:30pm. We also requested the AC filter be changed out as it was filthy. The owner was responsive to these issues, but could do well to upgrade a few things.

Owner's Response: I am glad that our condo was the perfect size for your party and that you enjoyed the view. Sorry we could not accommodate your late check out request. Prior to your stay, our unit had consistently received 5 stars (20) with a few 4 stars (2). Thus I am surprised by your review. The unit should have been ready at check-in (once again I apologize), but once the cleaning was complete (with positive feedback from you) and the AC filter was changed, I thought all was good, as I did not hear from you again during your week long stay. I do wish you had contacted me with your other issues, as many of them (hangers, cookie sheet, remotes, broom) could have been quickly resolved. I will look into adding a channel guide for the small televisions (there is a built-in guide for the large living room television with the cable box) and more towel hooks in the unit. Guests can quickly run through dry/clean bathroom towels and that is why they can be exchanged on a daily basis, as noted in the welcome packet. Our unit is located closest to the large pool with its snack shack and bar…which many guests enjoy. The posted pictures accurately reflect our location.

Car: not necessary

The Saida complex is a gated community with lots of amenities. You can explore the sand and surf, the 3 pools, hot tubs, shuffle board and tennis courts. Bring your own equipment or rent onsite for a nominal fee. There is also a seasonal poolside bar with kid friendly snacks. If you want a break from the beach, some of our favorite outings are to the Turtle Rescue Center, the Birding Center, bay fishing and the lighthouse in Port Isabelle. There are also lots of great reasonable priced restaurants. Locals love Manual's (cash only & closed on Monday) or Cafe Isabel for breakfast and Marcello's, Pirate's Landing or Dirty Al's for lunch or dinner.

Tax Rate 17.0%

No tax on stays of 30 days or greater. Slight increase on rates for stays that include a major holiday. A longer minimum stay may be required over a holiday or if a stay will leave "open" dates between traveler stays.

Spring Break - Saturday to Saturday only, must also purchase wrist bands ($28 ea) from HOA good for stay

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
