Elmhurst Townhome Rental Photos and Description

SpaciousOne Bedroom /One Bath with Sofabed, New Renovation!!!

If you have discriminating taste, or require a lot of space, or privacy, you are in the right place. This is a newly renovated townhome built in 2003 . .

The neighborhood: Jackson Height/Elmhurst is a commuter's station one block away, 74 Street Station takes you to Manhattan in 15 mins via 7,E,F,R,N lines. We're 10 mins away from the annual US OPEN held in August/September at Flushing Corona Park . Home of the METS-citifield, all ten mins train ride away! The unit can be easily access from LGA(Q33 bus) and JFK(Airtrain & E train). You may already know that Queens is New York City's most diverse borough and home to the strangest and most challenging (and ultimately rewarding) ethnic cuisines from Argentinians, Ecuadorians and Colombians, South Asians, and Mexicans.

Parking: there's coin metered parking in front of unit and public street parking within 5 block radius.

About the unit: the bedroom has a queen-sized and a full size bed in the bedroom and additional guest can stay on the sofabed in the living room. There's a fully equipped kitchen for guest use also.

Send me a message if you have any other questions.

What makes this townhome unique

Located on the eastern side of Manhattan, Queens rentals are a great alternative to more expensive accommodations in Manhattan. The Big Apple’s time square is 20 minutes subway ride away, while Queens itself offers up a memorable and unique getaway all by itself. Queens is all too often overshadowed by Manhattan, but it has surprising attractions, like the Museum for African Art, the Resorts World Casino, Flushing Meadows Park, the Queens Botanical Garden, the Queens Museum of Art, the Queens Zoo, New York Mets(Citifield) and the Home of annual US Open Tennis!

First time in NY

This is a wonderful property, great location. Jason is great to deal with, called him about an hour before we arrived and he found a parking space and held it for us. He also did a great job in explaining the ropes to us about the neighborhood. If anyone is interested in a NY getaway you really need to take a look at this place.

location was perfect and the place was comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. It is very close to the subway. We were visiting our mother, and it was very close to her apartment.

For 3 of us, it was very comfortable. We were only there to sleep, but it was very clean and convenient. We will definitely use it again.

I took the E train, and then to airtran for JFK airport. It was perfect trip. Thank you for letting us to use your place.

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect for four for our first US Open experience!! Very accommodating. We had to come in a day early due to a hurricane and were taken care of. The manager was on-site and had everything ready even though we only gave him a days notice. Place was very clean and had everything we could need. Highly recommend!!

Mom and 2 teens

Location is ideal if you are looking for a cheaper place outside the expensive city that is quickly accessible to the subway; E, F and M trains take you everywhere. Neighborhood is mostly Colombian and Asian, so food reflects this. Grocery stores/fruit stands/delis are steps away from the apartment. We were only looking for a "crash pad" for evenings after full days in the city, so this was enough for us. Clean with good wifi. Jason greeted us at the train station and walked us to the apartment and was very helpful.

Perfect location and awesome price!

  • 5 of 5

So many things we loved about staying here. The owner, Jason, was incredible and so nice! He communicated with ease, responded quickly to any message sent whether through email or text - he didn't charge for little odds and ends as a lot of people do on vrbo.com, the apartment was supplied with all of our needs, it was 1 block from the subway station which runs 24/7 - he found a parking space for us when we got there and parked his truck in it then called me so we could move our van out of the 1 hour parking space when we were unloading our luggage. We left our van parked in that spot all week and took the subway everyday into the city. He even drove me around to show me the subway and to explain a couple of things about the neighborhood. If you're looking for a small, decent priced place to stay outside of the city, stay here! If we ever get back to NY, I would be contacting Jason again to see if he has anything available.

Wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

The appartment was perfect (subway, grocery stores and restaurants all a two-minute walk) and Jason, the owner, is awesome!

He even gave us a lift to the airport! Thank you so much, Jason.

We will definitely choose this property if we ever return to New York.
