Holiday home in Kenilworth on River
River Oaks is surrounded by hundreds of acres of dairy farms and overlooking the Mary River and a horse stud across the other side. The homestead enjoys its own direct access to the Mary River. River Oaks is just 4 minutes from the historic Kenilworth Village, and 35 minutes from Noosa. See also our sister property "Little River Bach" and “Whispers at Kenilworth”
There is a lovingly restored country farm house with a spectacular veranda overlooking the Mary River and beyond, 3 bedrooms (2 queen + 4 single beds), 2 bathrooms, and a serious gourmet's French provincial kitchen, French doors throughout and breath taking country views. The fully renovated farm house is comfortably appointed with classic country furnishings, a library, polished timber floors and rugs, a fireplace and is fully screened against insects. River Oaks is pet friendly (on application) with a fenced yard, a tree house for the kids and a swing, oh and a dishwasher and coffee machine to cater for parent comfort too! Thank goodness for Mary River Holidays.
Kenilworth is located just 20 minutes South West of Eumundi in the Noosa Hinterland and accessible by bitumen roadway. Travelling time from Brisbane is approximately 90 minutes.
This charming village, with a 1920's atmosphere, offers a selection of country stores, gift shops, an art gallery plus a cheese, yoghurt and ice cream factory and a children's playground to die for. The local area has much to offer and provides well for the bush walker with idyllic picnic spots, great opportunities for kayaking, horse riding, cycling and fishing.
Places to see within 30-40 minutes of Kenilworth include:
* Sunshine coast beaches (including Noosa)
* Maleny, Mapleton and Montville villages on the Blackall
* Gheerulla, Mapleton and Condalilla Falls rainforest and waterfall walks
* Kenilworth State Forest and Baloomba Creek bushwalking
* Eumundi and Yandina Markets

Great place to chill out and relax!
We had a great weekend at River Oaks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
Great place to stay
Spent three relaxing days at River Oaks with my three sisters
We had a very enjoyable stay at river oakes on the mary very quite and peaceful everything there you need plus more and was also great for the fur pets
We had a really great time at River Oaks. It was lovely to sit out on the verandah and take in the view over the paddocks. The place was very comfortable and everything that would make for a great home away from home was provided. Lovely to be able tot ake the dogs too. they had a great time as well. Wish we could have stayed longer.
"Great Place to Relax"
River Oaks has everything you need to have a lovely relaxing holiday. The house was nice and clean and the kitchen stove was fantastic. Open plan living allowed you to still interact with the family while you were cooking. Grandkids enjoyed learning how to play chess and the sofas were plenty big enough for a family of five to relax and watch movies in the evenings which is something you don’t get at many other holiday homes. A short walk to the river and kayaks made for an enjoyable time for everyone, especially the grandkids and my small dog that was in his element swimming around the whole time. Certainly would recommend this property to anyone looking at getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Kids had heaps of fun riding around and exploring the river, while I enjoyed a quiet coffee on the deck enjoying the view. Well equipped home with a great selection of board games, DVDs and books.
