Fusion of old and modern feel
A warm and comfortable cottage. Love the antiques display, fire place, cozy bedrooms, modern bathroom, and large backyard. Our family enjoyed the stay where we made breakfast and dinner with the fully equipped kitchen and chatting next to the fireplace. Our dog loves running at the spacious backyard.
Charming cottage decorated to the era.
Wonderful accomodation . Charming cottage and tastefully decorated with antiques, nic nacs from the past . Everywhere you looked there was something different.
The beds were comfortable. It was warm and cosy. There was plenty of wood for the fire. Plenty of provisions left for brekkie.
Cosy Charming Cottage
We had a short stay over the Easter period but loved this place. My mother enjoyed poking around the amazing number of nostalgia pieces and we loved the peace of the garden, watching the sun descend on the front balcony and the proximity to the wineries. Altogether charming. Angaston is a great central spot to explore the Barossa from. We left a couple of jackets at the cottage but the owner and housekeeper kindly returned them to us. The complimentary wine and port was most enjoyable as were the breakfast items. A lovely place to rest and recharge.
Many thanks Julie. Glad your left items arrived safely and sorry for Australia Post charges. Regards, Fran
The cottage had everything one needs for an enjoyable stay in the Barossa.
Nice property in beautiful Barossa
We enjoyed our weekend away at Capt'n Rodda's Cottage, and loved spending time in the Barossa.
The property is located in Angaston, with plenty of restaurants and wineries nearby, as well as family attractions.
The property was comfortable, and the owner has filled it with vintage and antique collectables.
Nice and close to the Main Street of Angaston, one of the prettiest towns in the Barossa, with some great restaurants too. Our dogs loved the big yard. We enjoyed the character and comfort of the cottage. Would definitely book again!
