Perfect weekend getaway!
We just returned home after a magical weekend at the Crystal Valley Outcamp. We found the property clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. It's location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Wellington Region. Our 2 year old daughter loved seeing the animals in such close proximity, horses, sheep, chickens and cattle on the doorstep. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We are very much looking forward to returning and would definitely reccomend this property :)
Hi Lois, thanks so much for your positive review. We look forward to hosting you again. Kind regards
Another wonderful stay
After first spending two nights at the Outcamp in September we couldn't wait to come back again. It was lovely meeting all the new calves and lambs and seeing what happy lives they lead with their mums and older siblings. The girls had great fun grilling sausages on sticks over the fire and strolling around the farm spotting all the animals. We're already looking forward to our next stay!
Great affordable stay!
I stayed at Crystal Valley as I headed south on the Munda Biddi track. It's a very beautiful spot perched on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful farm full of animals. Very tranquil, scenic & perfect for my overnight stay. Affordable too! Would recommend to anyone travelling down that way.
Wonderful stay in the countryside
We had a fantastic time at the Outcamp. The farm is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and the accommodation very comfortable and clean. The girls (4 and 6) loved the animals and toasting marshmallows in the fire at night, the spring flowers and the stars were spectacular and there is much to explore in the area. Perfect for a weekend or longer to recharge the batteries away from life's usual distractions. We've just booked another stay in four weeks' time.
Great affordable farmstay
We thoroughly enjoyed our Farm stay at the outcamp. Clean, comfy beds and a hot shower -- what else do you need?! Our 4 year old loved the farm animals and having a fire at nighttime.
Great mountainbike treks close by.
We will be back for sure!
Perfect escape away
Our stay at the outcamp was such a lovely time, the place has a beautiful view and the property is filled with so many friendly and cute animals. We could have spent all weekend entertained on the farm, there is even two great walk trails that go straight from the property and not to mention the Mundi Biddi. The hosts were very helpful and we were able to have a camp fire and bush experience while also enjoying the luxury of a hot shower in the evening. We felt like we discovered the perfect affordable weekend away and we cant wait to go back.
