This gorgeous 3900 sq ft mountain home boasts a fantastic lake view and a beautiful open floor plan.

The great room features a high wood-beamed ceiling, a large wood burning fireplace, wrap-around sofa and 55' 4K LCD TV with Surround Sound, PS3, and Blu-Ray.

The recently remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for preparing any family feast.

Downstairs provides a second gathering area, with full sized pool table, wet bar with ice maker, 46' HDTV with Blu-ray, and lakeview deck.

The master bath features an oversized jetted tub.

Parking is provided for 3 cars in winter. Sorry, no garage access. Additional street parking is available in summer months. Driveway is heated (no shoveling!)

The house has a back-up generator! Stay cozy through winter storms!

Four bedrooms are downstairs: one king, two queens and one with two sets of bunk beds plus a pull-out trundle. One of the bottom bunks is a double bed (cozy for two); the remaining 3 bunks and the pull-out trundle are singles.

Two bathrooms are downstairs: one with large, rain shower and dual sinks, the other with a combined shower/tub, both with heated floors.

Nearby attractions: Beaches are a 5 minute drive from the house, and include Ski Beach, Incline beach and Burnt Cedar beach. Guests will be allowed access to the beaches, but will need to pay entrance fees of $12/adult and $4/child ages 6-17.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We went up with a couple of families for Thanksgiving. The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated, with plenty of rooms with beautiful views. The house was also fully furnished with pots, pans, etc. to make a gourmet meal. The home is ideal for several families who want to spend time together in the spacious living room over looking the lake or separately in the one of many rooms. I would highly recommend this property.

Great house - better than the pictures. Amazing view. Our favorite place to stay in Tahoe.

Excellent property over all, but no whirlpool spa tub.

  • 5 of 5

The only downside of this fantastic property is that it does not have an out side whirlpool/hot tub for ski vacationers. Otherwise, it has beautiful spacious master bedroom and other bedrooms. A fantastic and huge great room with a fireplace (bring your own wood). An excellent very well-stocked kitchen. An entertainment room with a full bar and a tournament size 4.5 x 9 pool table. All in all, it was a fantastic rental.

Perfect poperty for our getaway. Delivered every advertised quality and more. Highly recommended!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful incline village home was very enjoyable for our family Thanksgiving gathering. The home was spacious and offered breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. The community was quiet and the other homes were elegant mountain homes as well. It was in a great location and the amenities were all wonderful and exceeded expectations. The host was responsive and informative. We would very highly recommend this property!

Beat our expectations

  • 5 of 5

I have to say we had pretty high expectations given the listing and the reviews we had read, but this house beat those expectations.

The pictures do not do service to the view. You feel the lake and the trees as you walk through the living area of this house. The set up is great for our big group having several conversations, but being in the same space. Then you walk outside to the massive deck and just absorb the lake - a great space.

We didn’t use the fireplace as it wasn’t cold enough, but it looked great.

The décor is also as depicted which is tasteful in my opinion. Most rental houses I have stayed in are furnished in what seems like an afterthought. Most of the time I think people just put their extra stuff into them. Monica’s house seems like everything was purchased just for this house. There are books everywhere (especially the downstairs bedrooms), but there is also plenty of space for us to lay out our own stuff, which is a pet pieve of mine when I stay in hotels: there is no counter space to put your stuff. That is definitely not the case here.

The kitchen was another highlight. I really hate when vacation rentals seem to have the bare minimum of used utensils and unmatching silverware. Once again, that is not the case here. Everything we could want is here, and not just one mixing spoon, but several. The pop up stove vent took me a while to find, but beyond that the kitchen was awesome.

The TV and sonos system took us a bit of time to figure out, but no worse than when I stay in hotels. We also liked that you could have the same music upstairs and downstairs which was cool also.

We were in Tahoe for mountain biking and it would have been nice to have a more convenient space for our bikes. We ended up taking them down the outside stairs to the laundry room, which was fine, but garage access would have been appreciated.

I would definitely rent this house again.

Wonderful Mountain Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

My family just gathered from near and very far to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. With my parents traveling from the Bay Area, my family coming from L.A., and my brother and sister-in-law coming from Japan, the anticipation of seeing this home, which my brother had found on VRBO last summer, had been intense. My daughter and I arrived off the Mt. Rose Highway at 1:00 am; we entered the doors of what can only be described as a slice of heaven in terms of the exquisite views, the very comfortable furnishings, and the special extras which the kids adored such as the pool table downstairs and the Jacuzzi tub in the master bath. My husband had the same impression when arriving from L.A. the two nights later after a long week at work. It's clear that Monica and her family have put much love and energy into building and maintaining this beautiful mountain home. My husband and I loved seeing the bookshelves that aligned the walls of several bedrooms and the muted color palette used in the bedrooms which nicely offset the brighter color scheme of the living room. The bar and large tv screen downstairs proved perfect for enjoying watching the summer Olympics; the upper deck, which juts out diagonally toward the lake, proved equally perfect daytime views of the mountains and lake and for late-night star-gazing of Tahoe skies. Given the quick access off the Mt. Rose Highway, it was easy for us to travel back and forth to Heavenly Valley in one direction and Granlibaken in the other where we enjoyed ziplining and ropes courses. We jogged up and down the area streets, enjoyed conversing with neighbors, and reveled in the quiet, tranquil beauty of this neighborhood located just a quick 10-minute drive from Incline Village where we headed to Raley's to shop and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Azzara's. The kitchen is very well-appointed, Monica leaves detailed directions about everything, and there were interesting things to discover in almost every room. A few more hangers would have been great, and we found the thermostat a bit frustrating to operate when the lower level got a bit warm. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay, and we'll definitely consider returning, perhaps during the winter season.
