This gorgeous 3900 sq ft mountain home boasts a fantastic lake view and a beautiful open floor plan.

Why Monica chose Lake Tahoe Area

Spacious, up to date house with massive lake view living room and spacious lake view deck. Up to 12 adults won't feel crowded here. Sleeping areas separated from entertainment areas: Master suite on great room level, remaining bedrooms separately downstairs.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We went up with a couple of families for Thanksgiving. The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated, with plenty of rooms with beautiful views. The house was also fully furnished with pots, pans, etc. to make a gourmet meal. The home is ideal for several families who want to spend time together in the spacious living room over looking the lake or separately in the one of many rooms. I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Mountain Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

My family just gathered from near and very far to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. With my parents traveling from the Bay Area, my family coming from L.A., and my brother and sister-in-law coming from Japan, the anticipation of seeing this home, which my brother had found on VRBO last summer, had been intense. My daughter and I arrived off the Mt. Rose Highway at 1:00 am; we entered the doors of what can only be described as a slice of heaven in terms of the exquisite views, the very comfortable furnishings, and the special extras which the kids adored such as the pool table downstairs and the Jacuzzi tub in the master bath. My husband had the same impression when arriving from L.A. the two nights later after a long week at work. It's clear that Monica and her family have put much love and energy into building and maintaining this beautiful mountain home. My husband and I loved seeing the bookshelves that aligned the walls of several bedrooms and the muted color palette used in the bedrooms which nicely offset the brighter color scheme of the living room. The bar and large tv screen downstairs proved perfect for enjoying watching the summer Olympics; the upper deck, which juts out diagonally toward the lake, proved equally perfect daytime views of the mountains and lake and for late-night star-gazing of Tahoe skies. Given the quick access off the Mt. Rose Highway, it was easy for us to travel back and forth to Heavenly Valley in one direction and Granlibaken in the other where we enjoyed ziplining and ropes courses. We jogged up and down the area streets, enjoyed conversing with neighbors, and reveled in the quiet, tranquil beauty of this neighborhood located just a quick 10-minute drive from Incline Village where we headed to Raley's to shop and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Azzara's. The kitchen is very well-appointed, Monica leaves detailed directions about everything, and there were interesting things to discover in almost every room. A few more hangers would have been great, and we found the thermostat a bit frustrating to operate when the lower level got a bit warm. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay, and we'll definitely consider returning, perhaps during the winter season.

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

Overall an excellent rental home. Over the past 10 years our family has rented different Incline homes. Monica's home is absolutely one the top rentals considering price category and location. Upon reserving the home all information regarding the rental was very clear. Payment was easy (3 installments). The information via email shortly before the rental provided very useful details for the rental.

The floor plan is wonderful. 2 floors with large open spaces yet cleary defined. A large living room with a couch en lounge chairs to easliy seat everyone with room to stretch out. Very nice audio visual items. Especially like the Sonos sound system in every room and sound bar connected to the living room tv. Awesome sound. Furthermore subscription to Apple music accessible for unlimited music enjoyment. Great kitchen and stocked with we with everything we needed. Top grade appliances. The large outside patio/deck is great especially for summer rentals. The weber BBQ with permanent gas line was very easy to use. The views are wonderful, seeing most of the lake and surrounding mountains through the pine tree tops.

The beds were great. Nice to have the master bedroom on the top floor with kitchen, dining and living and 4 other bedrooms on the lower floor.

There is a large room on the lower floor that has a king bed as well that is more or less a master bedroom with an adjacent large bathroom. This is great for 2 couples with plenty of beds for others/kids.

The bar/pool table room is perfect. Plenty of space to take all pool shots and great seating for hanging out or for those watching the pool game and enjoying a drink at the huge bar. Again the sound system is great in this room. Best of all for the pool players is the chalk block to for your hands to help your cue stick glide easily over your hand.

Although on summer evenings the house warms up, there a plenty of windows with screens to open and enough mobile ventilators provided to keep it from becoming uncomfortably warm. We would happily rent this home again.

Thank you Monica. Your obvious attention to detail should help your home remain a favorite among renters.

Best Tahoe Cabin i've ever been to

  • 5 of 5

I've been to my share of cabin's around the lake, but this has been hands down the greatest cabin i've been to. All instructions were very concise on what can be used/what can't be. The description of the cabin doesn't do this property justice. Wide clean, let me emphasize CLEAN! property all around. I've never seen such a clean kitchen (sink/stove/kitchen), common areas, bathrooms, rooms for properties that are popular. Kitchen is fully stocked for all sorts of cooking, everything is as advertised. The owner is extremely prompt in getting back to you, in the event you have any questions. I highly recommend this cabin for those looking to stay in North Tahoe! Mount Rose ski is 10-15 min drive away, Diamond peak even close (5 min?). Ladies, I hear the spa at the Hyatt is great too! Thanks so much to Monica and her wonderful property!

Fabulous

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this house for 3 nights in early January. The main floor of the house feels very spacious, with high ceilings, open floor plan, and minimalist decor. The view through the gigantic living room windows is awesome. Downstairs, where four of the bedrooms are, feels quiet, cozy, and warm. Each of the bedrooms is furnished very nicely and has high quality bedding. There is also a Pool Room/Bar downstairs with an entertainment system that serves as a perfect hang out area for both kids and adults. The Master bed and bath are nicely laid out and well appointed. It feels very private, and the view from there is spectacular also. The kitchen (and Bathrooms) are nicely upgraded. There is every utensil, appliance, or dish you could possibly think of in the kitchen. So, preparing meals was easy. The entertainment system is elaborate and a little complicated, but I was able to figure it out after the first day. If you just want to use the TV, that's pretty basic. There were only four of us, but the house is perfect for large groups. Because of the size and layout of the house, there are numerous spots where people can be engaged in different activities, or retreat to. Everything about the house is well thought out - From the heated driveway, to the floor plan, to the spectacular views, it really felt perfect. The owner, Monica was easy to deal with, and responded to our inquiry within an hour or two. We're definitely going to return if/when we have the chance, and would strongly recommend this house to anyone looking for a spacious and luxurious Tahoe Retreat. If you like Italian food try Azzara's, next to Raily's Grocery store. Really good!

Amazing ... View, Beds, Shower ... perfect

  • 5 of 5

This home hosted our extended family of 8 couples and 4 young kids over Thanksgiving week. The home is HUGE which was nice for everyone who wanted to spread out but beware that like most homes on this mountainside there are stairs, and at altitude they can tire you out quickly!

The bedrooms are all cozy with extremely comfortable mattresses. The 4 downstairs bedrooms are serviced by 2 very nice bathrooms so not much sharing required. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner plus a weeks worth of meals ... the fridge is huge so plenty of room to stockpile groceries from the store 5 minutes away!

We particularly liked the minimalist interior style as it works best when you have lots of little kid hands and curiosity. The only real item of concern was the Master Bedroom 'bridge' as the railings were widely spaced and a child could have slipped through. Our kids are cautious enough that there were no issues but be forewarned. The railing on the stairs are safe enough and the stairs are tiered such that kids could really only fall 3 or 4 steps if they trip.

Overall a great home for a large group.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed the house. We think it's perfect for a family gathering. I just want to make one *teeny* correction - that the home hosted 8 adults and 4 kids, not 8 couples and 4 kids. :-) (The maximum number of guests our home can sleep is 12, so for future guests, please understand this house does not sleep 20. ) Welcome back on your next Tahoe visit!
