About Carmela Angela Ricciardello
I named the house after my mother, her name is Deodata which is an old Sicilian name which means “god gave”. I feel that was exactly what it was, finding this house was very special for me. Since I have never given my mother any grandchildren this is my way of compensating. I have renovated the house adding a lounge area, coming the kitchen as another downstairs bedroom and the latest addition was the swimming pool.

Why Carmela Angela Ricciardello chose Cefalù
The views are sensational surround by the countryside and olive grove where I pick the olives every year to make the oil which I leave at the villa for guests to use. My partner and I enjoy looking after the garden.

gorgeous views, lovely home and helpful host
We celebrated our son's birthday here and it was wonderful. Sicily is one of the most beautiful places in Europe and Cefalu the best base for exploring the island. We picked lemons from the tree on the property and used the host's very tasty olive oil all while watching the sunset each evening. The grill and pizza oven were the icing on the cake.
Magical vacation villa,pectacular views, relaxed,
We are back home! I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful experience at your beautiful Villa Deodata last week. It truly was a perfect week!! I still can't stop thinking about the spectacular views from every angle of the house, and I already miss the pool!! We were so relaxed, yet there was so much to do.
Thank you for creating such a magical vacation villa for our family to enjoy, and for all of your help with our time in Sicily. . We had a wonderful two days in Taormina but my heart was still in Sant Ambrogio! I hope we will meet again sometime soon.
Tranquillity in a Sicilian national park…
This amazing “ranch” was ours for a week at the end of June 2010. After two weeks outside Rome we took the night train to Cefalu, then by car on a final breath taking tour on the hilly roads. Me and my wife and our four children aged between 7 and 12 from Sweden with many previous experiences from other lovely stays in beautiful Italy, simply fell in love with this place… 450 meter above sea level, a perfect big house, a very popular pool (especially by the children), good utilised kitchen and a beautiful view over the Mediterranean sea…. Going on excursions on the winding narrow roads, preparing your own food that you find on the market, looking at the stars in the peaceful nights, waking up in the morning by the donkeys (!), ducks or some other of the animals at the little farm was very relaxing… and there’s even a good restaurant only100 meters away… What else do you need before flying back home to the Scandinavian northern light?
In the countryside of the Park of the Madonie Mountains, only 3.5 km from the enchanting village of Sant'Ambrogio where there's a mini-market, 2 bars and restaurants. Only 100 metres from the property there's a restaurant.
Cefalù is a 8 km drive where there's bus and train station, large supermarkets, banks and all other facilities .
