Gorgeous cottage with private garden in a fabulous location
Why Alison Richards chose Fremantle
Art on Attfield is a delightful c1880 cottage with a heritage feel and lots of soul.
What makes this Cottage unique
Original artworks from local WA artists decorate the limestone walls. There are 2 garden spaces for you to enjoy which are secluded and private. Located just a few minutes walk from the heart of fremantle, its a unique home away from home.
Cosy and well located cottage in Freo
A very nice one bedroom cottage located a short walk from the beach and downtown Fremantle. Decorated with works of art that really made the place feel one step above the average. A small garden in the back where you can have breakfast. The owner Alison was very helpful in answering all kinds of questions. An extra star for the flexibility when it turned out that I needed one more nights stay. I recommend this place for shorter and longer visits.
Enjoyed my stay
Really enjoyed my stay, however the shower needs a good clean.
enjoyed our stay great place for two people easy access to everything awesome
Gorgeous place to stay in Fremantle
We loved our recent stay at Art on Attfield. The house is beautifully decorated inside, very clean and had everything we needed. It is also in a great location near to the Wray ave shops and cafes. Highly recommend and we will return when next we visit Fremantle
Great location near Fremantle
We love the close access to everything in Freo yet it is quiet and peaceful. Loved it when we stayed in summer with aircon and cool tile floors, but could there be a heating alternative? It would be great to have something on the floor to just take the chill off rather than hot aircon blowing in your face. The kitchen is cold in the morning.
To clarify, the reverse cycle (heating/cooling) air conditioning located in the kitchen and bedroom are located well above face height. A gas heater (which stands on the floor) is provided for guests use in the lounge room.
Cute little cottage in a nice location close to Fremantle and the Beach. Easy access to transport. Unfortunately, as we were looking for a longer stay for the two of us, it didn't quiet suit our need (there was not a lot of storage space and only a smaller kitchen), but the owner and Alison were exceptional in dealing with it and had us sorted in no time. I would recommend this property to people who travel lightly, who are looking for an easy location to access Fremantle, and who don't expect to be 'at home' much.
This guest was relocating to Fremantle and needed storage for all her personal items, full wardrobe of clothes and multiple kitchen appliances (slow cooker, juicer, coffee machine etc) plus a full office of files etc for her work. Her partner (who was joining her 2 weeks later) had a similar amount of personal and professional items. I was able to re-accommodate Emma and her partner in a 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of extra storage and wardrobe space so all worked out well in the end. For those travelling for pleasure or short work assignments, this cottage is ideal with everything provided for your needs.
