Great set up and location
We loved the setup which was perfect for our three families to spend time together. It meant we got to see each other more as we each had our own friends to catch up with separately but all the kids got to play together every morning and afternoon/evening when we did our own thing during those days. The day beds were so much fun for the 8 kids to hang out on and the bbq areas was a great spot for dinner and drinks once all the kids were down. Some of the mattresses were a but uncomfortable and overall the property is a little aged but it had a great, quirky atmosphere and we would without doubt stay here again. The local native park was a great spot to take the kids, a great coffee shop five minutes walk away with awesome coffee.
We loved our stay at the Kraal and Kottaj. It had everything we needed. Great quiet location but close to everything.
What more could you want
Perfect place. Janey the owner met us and instantly made us feel welcome. The whole setting is perfect. Janey even surprised us with a little treat for the bbq. The outdoor cooking area was brilliant. We loved every minute of our stay and was sad to leave. It takes around ten minutes walk to get into Freo itself but it is an easy walk. Loads to see and do there. You will not be disappointed in staying at Freostay. You gotta check out little creatures bar and definitely jump on a ferry to Rottnest Island even to just see the Quokkas. So thanks Janey and Freostay. Your place really started our first trip to Australia with great memories and the perfect place to unwind. We just can't speak highly enough of it. Keep Smilin'
Fun in Fremantle
We stayed as a large family group and the 2 cottages worked beautifully for that. Very clean on arrival. Customer service was great - when the washing machine went bung with a load still in it, the proprietor took it home to finish it for us. Great stay.
Such a lovely place to get away! 110% in love with both the houses we stayed in. the outdoor area with day beds was great to sit out side have a drink and relax. highly recommend, inside clean and tidy. was overall great weekend and will defiantly be back!
excellent stay excellent location
Fantastic stay - we met our Canadians friends and stayed for an extra long weekend - great outside entertaining area where we enjoyed an evening BBQ, and only a short walk away from centre of town.
We stayed in July and although the outside temperature was cool the house was warm and cosy.
We would all definitely return for a short break at freostay.
