About the property

Prospect cottage is a private city fringe recently updated with new flooring/ kitchen. It has a Double Carport, two bathrooms one inside and one outside. A stunning large upgraded Kitchen/Dining room, 2 enormous bedrooms 5X4 and the other 5×5 that sleeps up to 8 adults and still offer plenty of room for a cot. Its a lovely double brick cottage with large French windows to let in the light. The large luxurious main bedroom is filled with antique furniture, LCD on the wall, reverse cycle aircon and a fan.

The property has a queen in the main bedroom, this room has the main bathroom running off it as well as its own private lounge / sitting area. The second and bigger bedroom has 2 double beds and a foldout couch that is very comfy. This room also has a flat screen TV a PlayStation/dvd (supplied on request, with games and DVDs) as well as an office desk.

Its Northern aspect to the city means that its on the same side as the festival theater, Adelaide's new football/ cricket oval and the entertainment center, all about 5 min away. If wine is your thing then its sits on the right side of town to make a quick trip to the famous Barossa Valley (40 min drive). It is also only 5 min drive to The Adelaide Aquatic center and the Women's and Children's.

Basic condiments are provided. If cooking's not your thing then walk to the end of the street for some of the best cafes and restaurants in town. Coles is also at the end of the street.

Secure, quiet, city fringe location. Due to the last guest who brought their long haired German Sheppard to stay that destroyed my recently refurbished home, I no longer accommodate pets.

$15/20 cab fair to the city or a 45 minute brisk walk. Buses run every 10 min to and from the city at the end of the street. I have a great kid's corner set up for under 7 and age appropriate toys can be added at request on your arrival. Great secure yard for pets as the property is surrounded by high fences.

The lay out of the rooms is

Bedroom 1 has one queen bed in it and a stunning sitting room with reverse cycle aircon and LCD on the wall

Bedroom 2 has 2 double beds and a fold out couch, it also has a TV with PlayStation, gas heater and aircon.

If extra bedding is required a mattress on the floor can be arranged and a cot can be arranged at request. The cottage has no formal separate lounge room. It comes with highchair and any other children's/babies necessities so please ask on or before arrival. There is also a delightful cane wicker day bed in the kitchen that can be made up for sleeping on at request. Often guests want seperate beds so i can arrange up to 6 seperate beds if large groups are coming and don't want to share a double bed.

Includes a F&P washing machine and undercover lines to hang out your washing. If you require a BBQ please let me know and Ill have it brought over for you (its next door at my other property The Gentelmans Bungalow).

Around the corner is a wonderful playground and a park with BBQ facilities and the North Adelaide footy oval where the local residence meet every morning with their doggies.

No ps4, no DVD player, no BBQ, bathroom no heater, door constantly rattled, smell of sewerage and accepted dog but then kept bond because of dog hair. Dog was not even on beds!!

Great location

We had a great time staying at "Tiffanys", the easy access to the eateries along the main street was a huge bonus. Even though we travel like a mini hospital with a high care adult the rooms were bigger than we can access at motels. Shelley did everything possible to ensure that we had a fun weekend . Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Adelaide and are planning to return to explore further the delights of the region. Many thanks Shelley

Terrific stay

My daughter and I stayed at this property for 3 days pre and post her knee surgery at the Women's and Children's Hospital. The close proximity of the property made our travel so much easier.

The cottage was warm and cosy, the beds were very comfy, the kitchen was surprisingly well equipped to prepare and cook meals.

It was great to have a backyard to use to sit in the sun and an undercover carport behind roller doors kept us feeling secure.

The bonus was having coffee shops, a number of places to buy an array of cuisines and shops to buy the essentials from all within walking distance of the cottage.

Shelly couldn't have made our stay any better.

Nice, spacious and comfortable apartment

We have stayed at Shell's apartment in two periods of 3 nights and 4 nights respectively in our last trip. We enjoyed much of staying there, Shell is friendly and helpful, she would try her best to provide our needs.

The provisions there are sufficient, kitchen is large and we can park our car inside the flat.

Our overall experience is very good.

Best Value for Money

Wow, what great stay for our party of 7 people!! What stood out for us was the exceptional value for money, it may have only had 2 bedrooms but they were large and were set up comfortably for us all!! The second bathroom was a bonus and having a washing machine and lock up parking was great as we were travelling and knew our belongings were safe. The neighbourhood was absolutely quaint and beautiful. We took a walk early evening and due to the upmarket suburb, the historical houses and beautiful gardens were such a pleasure. It was close to shops and restaurants, within walking distance and the main road of the delightful Prospect precinct was so useful! Massive thanks to Shelly for her warm welcome!!We had a ball!!
