Overview

Nashville Cabin Rental Photos and Description

4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 16 comfortably with beds in loft.

Indoor gas fireplace, 2 satellite televisions, telephone, microwave, fully equipped kitchen, board games, gas grill, washer and dryer, dock at river, two fire pits, firewood, cedar lawn and deck furniture. High speed wireless internet.

Private maintained road access to ATV and snowmobile trails. Swimming, golfing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and hunting. Nearby Wolf River rafting, Ed's Lake and Hemlock cross country ski trails, Mole Lake Casino and Potawatomi Casino.

2800 sq. ft of gravel parking area for RV's and trailers in addition to the long, wide drive for easy turn-around. Ideal for ATVers and snowmobilers.

Winter up north.: Young children enjoy sledding on small hill on the property. Watch them from the porch.

Access the Wolf River Snowmobile Trail 1/2 mile on private road or the Lumberjack Memorial Snowmobile Trail 1 mile on Woodlawn Road. These connect to the Tombstone Pickerel trails to the south, and the 100 Mile Snow Safari to the north.

The private road, driveway and parking area are plowed throughout the snow season.

Enjoy cross country skiing at nearby Ed's Lake or Hemlock Lake. The trails have a nice variety of hills through the forest.

Take a young family downhill skiing at Kettlebowl, in Bryant, a 30 minute drive. This is a low cost family oriented ski hill. An hour's drive will get you to Ski Brule, in Brule, Michigan.

Enjoy the water.: Canoe or kayak a short distance from property to Lily Lake (early spring/summer). Paddle the lake or continue on the Lily River outlet to newly opened Frog Alley Inn and Campground (45 minute paddle there). This is a very quiet trip.

Trailer an available 12 foot row boat (with motor) to any number of nearby lakes: Jungle Lake, Lake Pickerel, Bog Brook flowage, Robert's Lake, or to the Lily Lake Landing.

Those looking for a sandy bottom may enjoy Lake Metonga or Crystal Lake. These lakes are a 15 - 20 minute drive away.

Excerpts from our guest book.: 'What a wonderful place! Every morning waking up to the calls of the loons on the lake, the stream running, and the birds chirping!'

'The cabin is lovely! From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we were going to have a good time, and we did. Kayaking and swimming were a blast. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was nice that everything was fully stocked and very clean

'All the comforts of home. Plenty of room for everyone, inside and out. Great place for tween and teenaged kids. They loved exploring, finding lots of frogs at the river. We all enjoyed kayaking and canoeing. The swing by the river was a big hit for the kids. The hammock by the house was enjoyed by everyone of all ages.'

'Your cabin far exceeded our expectations'

Perfect Quiet Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We take a trip once a year to unplug and escape the Chicago city noise. This was by far the best place we've ever found. Dave, the owner, is great to work with. The cabin had everything we needed; full kitchen, comfort, great outdoor space. We wanted complete relaxation and we got it. The grounds are quiet and secluded. Perfect for a group of friends or family; you can definitely have your entire group sleep comfortably. Thanks Dave!

Everything I expected and more!

  • 5 of 5

A large group of us take a trip up north every year and our group keeps getting bigger and bigger. We found this cabin and it looked and sounded to good to be true. But with 15 people it was our best option. The owner Dave is amazing to work with and very realistic. Well we got there and the pictures probably don't even do this place justice. It is incredible! Very secluded, beautiful cabin, beautiful property. Abundance of sleeping area, two fridges and wifi is pretty darn good. We were actually able to play xbox online. Can hear the creek from the cabin, beautiful fire pit/Fireplace and really the place has everything you could ask for. Great place for friends, family, and children. Would not be surprised if I try to rent with family and enjoy it in the summer. If you rent you will not be disappointed!

beautiful, private cabin

  • 5 of 5

When we drove up, we couldn't believe how beautiful this cabin is. It is just as beautiful inside, as it is outside. it is very spacious and very well stocked! There were many things that we brought, that were already there. This was a getaway for myself and my 3 grown children, and two significant others, and fun was had by all. We really appreciated the canoes and kayaks that are supplied. It was so nice that all of us could go out on the water together. We paddled to the lake a few times, and it was beautiful, especially since the lily pads were blooming also. The firewood that is supplied is good quality wood, and for 10 dollars per wheel barrow load, it's a bargain. This cabin is very private and other than hearing a four wheeler or car once in a while, it was very quiet. A wonderful place to stay.

Great Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We came with extended family and had a blast. The cabin had more than enough room for everyone, and it was nice that there were separate areas of the cabin for each family. Cabin was clean and was well stocked. We came in the winter, and the backyard was hard to navigate with so much snow, but it did make for some good sledding.

What a bit of heaven!

  • 5 of 5

A friend and I stayed at the cabin for four days this past summer. It was a bit of heaven. The log home was spacious and very clean. We picked strawberries and made jam and syrup and the kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable and even though there is no a/c, we were never even warm. The surroundings are very quiet and tranquil. The yard was very nice with a swing, chairs and a fire pit. The owner is friendly and accommodating. I would suggest this cabin for two friends like us, a couple or a large family. Enjoy!

Nicely equipped and secluded

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 9 in this clean spacious cabin. We were very pleased with the way the house was laid out and the amenities. From little things like lots of towels and linens and lots of hooks to hang towels and gear, to the kayaks and canoes that are included. Kitchen was well equipped and the 2 refrigerators worked well for food and drinks. We appreciated the quality dry firewood provided (honor system payments). It is nice paddle down the river to the lake (and the eagle's nest). We caught a bucket full of crawfish for dinner in the river by hand and they were the best we had ever had (including 'Nawlins). Lots of wildlife to see including river otters, herons, kingfisher, loons and more. If you are into biking the roads and trails are perfect for hybrids or mountain bikes. The property is on a peninsula / bend in the river and you cannot see the neighbors. Definitely recommended.
