Overview

About the property

2 Bedroom + Loft, 1.5 Baths, Sleeps 5

The cottage is an old farm house built in 1932 that has been completely renovated inside and out.

The attic room was recently renovated and has an extra toilet and sink. There is also a set of bunk beds with plenty of toys for the kids.

A creek runs across the back side of the property which is a great place for kids to play.

There is no AC in the attic room and there is no TV service although there are plenty of DVDs.

Wifi is available.

There is also a tree house in a 100 yr. old Magnolia tree in the side yard along with a deck. A circular driveway can accommodate a lg. RV or boat.

There is a fire pit and plenty of firewood for a cozy evening around the fire.

The cottage is located on Cato Springs Rd 5 miles so. of the University of Arkansas which makes it very easy to get to and from all the Razorback games.

One mile up the road is a truck stop and a couple of fast food restaurants.

State Hwy. 49 is one mile from the cottage.

I have spent 18 yrs. renovating this little farm house and everyone tells me it is absolutely adorable, I'm sure you will think so too.

There is a total of 2 acres to the property.

Charming, clean, up-to-date appliances and well-stocked.

We had a delightful time and appreciated having a place for our Fayetteville family to hang out for dinner and movie night. The wood burning stove made it very cozy.

Perfectly precious!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is very well equipped and super clean. The beds are comfortable, setting is cozy and the entire property is well kept. There are plenty of movies to watch as Regular TV service is not available. We did connect our computer to the TV via HDMI cable and were able to stream games that way, so there is a "work around." I highly recommend staying at the cottage. We very much enjoyed our stay.

It was very easy to get to campus and Uber drivers had no problem picking up and delivering us back after the game.

Moving to Arkansas

This is an adorable little cottage with so many extras you'll never be bored. If relaxing and reading in a comfortable rocker is what you are looking for, you will find it here. Sitting on the front porch enjoying a cup of coffee in the mornings was my favorite. I could enjoy the sound of water from the gold-fish pond. There were frequent visits from PC the sweet little kitty and every kind of bird imaginable at the bird feeders including hummingbirds. The cottage was very comfortable, close to everything I needed. If you're looking for a true country cottage, stay here!!! You won't regret it.

Beaver Lake is a must see area while your here. It is beautiful with its clear water and lots of camp grounds. I've camped there many times.

Eureka Springs is a great little tourist town with great restaurants.

Crystal Bridges is a wonderful museum to visit with a restaurant.
