A beautifully kept Edwardian Cottage - once an old railway workers cottage dating back to 1905. Come and stay behind the white picket fence in a lovely tree lined street 4 station stops from the city.
This is a two bedroom cottage each room has a queen size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, deluxe gas and elecetric oven, modern fully renovated bathroom with double shower & vanity, lovely back courtyard that receives the morning sun, free street parking.
A speaker system is there all you need to do is pug in your own IPod or MP3 player and you can set the mood for your holiday. TV and DVD player and some board games and toys for the little ones. We have portacot & highchair for your use.
The home is fully air conditioned and has numerous heating options as well as electric blankets on both beds.
Only 500 metres to Dome Cafe - which has WIFI and the railway station where you can use the public transport to go to the city or venture further down the track to the port city of Fremantle.
The 8th Avenue shopping precinct is just across the tracks and has some very interesting boutique and antique shops with plenty of eating options - including fish and chips, 2 x Thai restaurants, Italian restaurant, Turkish Kebabs and various different styled cafes, which are all great for coffee, breakfasts and lunches.
This area also boasts banks, post office, IGA Supermarket, chemist, numerous styles of Asian grocers, fresh fruit and veg market, organic butchers and Smoult's Deli selling beautiful fresh small goods and picnics, plenty of hair and beauty salons options too. A large Coles Supermarket and liquorland are located just across Guildford Rd.

Handy to public transport. Within walking distance to local shops and restaurants. Well stocked kitchen equipment.
Good property in a very convenient location
We found this property was very well equipped and in a very convenient location - close to public transport, cafes, shops and also easy to get around Perth if driving. We wanted space and the ability to be able to cook for ourselves and the cottage offered everything we needed as a family.
Comfortable holiday cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maylands Cottage. The house is modern & clean; spacious yet cosy. Beds were wonderfully soft. Quiet location just a short walk to train & delicious coffee shops. It felt like a 'home away from home' for our family.
Nice and Cosy
Janine has been quick in response to our queries. The cottage is cosy and the kids enjoyed the toys provided. We travel to Swan Valley and Perth City during our stay there, so the cottage is about center to these places.
