The home showcases iconic angular desert Mid-Century Modern architecture, which includes an open concept floor plan, vaulted high ceilings, and unique exposed wood beams and natural ceiling planks. The floor-to-ceiling "walls of glass" create a bright, airy indoor ambiance that merge indoor living with the outdoor desert. Experience breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains from one side, and the tranquil, private garden and swimming pool oasis on the other.
The spacious home is thoughtfully appointed with new modernist furnishings inspired by famous midcentury modern designer icons. Highlights include an authentic Herman Miller Eames® Elliptical Table (popularly known as the 'Surfboard' coffee table), stylish yet comfortable living chairs, and raised modern beds with luxury mattresses and hotel quality linens in each bedroom.
The fully private and walled tropical back yard oasis features a large 'legacy size' swimming pool and a custom in-ground resort style jetted spa. Relax in chaise lounges underneath an island oasis of gently swaying palm trees and the tranquil sounds of the infinity waterfall that cascades into the pool.
A covered lanai spanning the length of the house provides available shade and features an outdoor dining table for alfresco dining. In 2008 a group of close friends from Seattle rented this delightful mid-century modern home for a winter escape from the rain and cold. We all fell instantly in love with the magical desert 'zen' that this home provided. Despite all the nearby attractions and activities, we found ourselves spending the majority of our four lazy days lounging by (and in!) the private pool, soaking up the sun, and grilling lunch and dinner poolside. At night we all enjoyed the wonderful sensation of slowly immersing ourselves into the jetted hot tub and gazing upwards at the stars. Three years later we discovered that this home was for sale. We didn't hesitate a second to purchase this vacation home for ourselves, families, and friends. As our guests, we trust you will have an equally memorable stay at our 'home away from home!'
This vacation home is located on a highly sought-after panoramic View Lot bordering the Mesquite Country Club PGA golf course. The dining, living, guest rooms, and private front yard feature completely unobstructed views of a beautifully landscaped PGA 18-hole golf course. In the backdrop, there are breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountain range. Just a few steps away is a meandering 4-mile looped paved walking/running/biking trail for energetic morning run, or a relaxing afternoon stroll shaded by palm trees.
Wow! We had a fantastic holiday in your home. Can't say enough about the house, neighborhood and Palm Springs. Thanks for the extra care when the electricity hiccup happened - again wow! Know that we'll definitely be back!

This is my home away from home! I can pack my clothes, a few groceries and move in with all the comforts of home. The house is so comfortable with everything so modern, but yet "Retro" which takes you back to the 60's. The back yard and pool are very private for your own quiet time. The view of the mountains and golf course is spectacular in the morning. Thank You, Michael and Scott for making everything so comfy.
We were very impressed with everything related to our stay here. The house is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally well equipped with everything we could need. We traveled with our 2 young children and the backyard and pool were perfect. The pool was a great size and well heated, and it had a lovely grass area. The outdoor area was very private and view of the mountains from the front was stunning. The owners were extremely responsive and made the effort to ensure everything was good with our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and stay here again.
We recently stayed at the Alexander house for our 10-year anniversary, so we really wanted to find the perfect place. Just pulling up to the house we knew we found the perfect house. Across the street is an enormous golf course. It felt like our own private resort because you couldn't see any other houses from any of the windows or from the yard--just palm trees and the mountains. The house was very clean and totally stocked with everything we needed. Everything inside was new/modern, but with retro decorating that made it fun. The master bedroom and living room have full length windows so that you always see the pool and palm trees (which gave us that constant feeling of being on vacation). The backyard is totally private. We spent most of our time lounging by the pool and watching the palm trees sway. The house is relatively close by a grocery store, but would recommend a car to get into town (we did Uber). Michael and Scott were awesome owners to deal with and were very responsive to our questions to help plan the trip down (our first time to Palm Springs). We will definitely be back!
Amazing home with absolutely everything you need for a fabulous vacation. Pool and spa are heaven. Beds so comfortable you don't want to get up. Every kitchen gadget you can think of, even a waffle iron! But since you're only 5 minutes from yummy restaurants and shops.....take your pick. You can tell the owners pull out all the stops to make your stay the best experience possible. Highly recommend to all.
I'm hesitant to post this amazing review because this house will be booked and we won't be able to reserve it again! But this house and owners were fabulous. We have stayed at numerous rentals in Palm Springs over the years and this house outclasses every other one. The house itself and views were amazing. Everything was well appointed, very clean, stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and stocked well--real knives, cookware set, platters, and even some pantry items. The pool, spa and back yard are totally private and were divine--pool floats and BBQ area. The only disappointment was that we didn't book a longer stay--we didn't want to leave. Thank you again for the wonderful, authentic Palm Springs experience.
