Great cosy weekend
The Dairy has everything you need for a weekend away from it all. We really enjoy our bbq's on the deck with a glass of wine, after a fully day out tasting. The Dairy has wonderful views and is just around the corner from the centre of town. Would definitely recommend The Dairy for a weekend.
So pleased you had a great time. please recommend us to family and friends.
Convenient location and lovely outlook.
We enjoyed our two night stay at The Dairy. Loved the look of the antique bed but it wasn't very comfy! Don't want to sound picky but think there maybe a problem with the bathroom plumbing. After emptying the bath, water proceeded to rise through the floor drain. I also think a note should be left on the BBQ telling people to clean it after they use it. No big deal, but the hairdryer was missing. Anne and Terry were very helpful with their info on the surrounding region and it was interesting looking at their old photos of The Dairy and the amazing job they have done with it.
Magic Mudgee @ the Dairy
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Diary. Be prepared for no mobile reception and to switch off! Conveniently located next door to the amazing Logan winery and only a short drive into town, this place is great to relax and unwind. It has a little kitchen and BBQ to cook meals and sit on the deck and enjoy the colours of the dying sun in the afternoon. Anne and Terry are amazing hosts and made everything easy! Definitely going to head back!
Rustic and well placed
The Dairy was a last minute grasp at accommodation for the long weekend. Within a minutes drive of three wineries, and overlooking a vineyard, the Dairy proved to be a neat location. Dinner on the deck each night watching mountains change colour was magic, along with clear skies. Anne was very helpful with info on Mudgee.
Great Value, thanks Anne !
We really enjoyed our weekend away.
It was our first time in Mudgee and it was so relaxing and the view was beautiful.
It can be noisy because it's on the highway but not to extent that you can't relax. (at night it gets quiet)
The house itself is very warm and cosy.
There's no reception in the area but you are only 10mins away from the main city.
We will definitely come back again.
Excellent property and location
My wife and I stayed at The Dairy,Appletree cottage and thouroughly enjoyed the experience. The interior is very neat and clean and the slow combustion fire just finishes off the cosy feeling. If I would make a request it woul be for the radio to be tuned into a station. We were unable to listen to any local news or music during our stay although we did have some CDs which we purchased in town. Great quiet relaxing location.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll also put a note on top of the radio with the local station in case it moves off again. .
